What's more painful is that they are compared to their hoobaes, as well, and some are rude enough to criticize them. Why can't they just let Super Junior breath peacefully? We, the ELFs, should love them unconditionally.

The worst part is how the fandoms disrespect senior group even when THEIR FAVES look up to them. Super Junior are recognized as kings by pretty much every third generation kpop group, yet many fans discredit their achievements and talent to make their faves look better. I see this mostly as an Army, since BTS is getting big right now. They broke a lot of records and we should be proud, but I can't help but defend SuJu when people say the famous line: "BTS paved the way". Many people don't even know what senior groups did, and ignorance is everyone's worst enemy. It's easy to say "BTS invented kpop" when you don't even know Super Junior was the first kpop group to hold a world tour or to win 2 American prizes at the People Choice Awards. I wish people would educate themselves at least a little bit about senior idols before giving their faves all the credit.

This is beautiful...so so beautiful...I remember Super Junior was the first group/idols that I started to stan seriously. I liked a couple of songs from other groups, but super junior was always like home, where I’d always come back to and where I’d always feel most comfortable. The first album I got was a D&E album that my best friend bought me for my birthday and it’s been with me through some of the most important years of my life. I’ve amassed several suju albums since then and Suju remains the only group I have and will willingly spend money on. I admire them, not only for their talents, but also because they’re such a tight knit family. Because Super Junior, ELF, and Sapphire blue will always be the prettiest words in my world.

When sj started with the knowledge of them being disbanded after a year because they are a project group and now sj will be celebrating their 14th anniversary this 2018 you will probably know that sj's brotherhood is definitely a very strong one. It's not easy for a group to keep running actively in this time span but they really did and the fact that they are just a experiment group that has no future back then. When no people believes in them, when people did talk shits about them being a suicidal group and how come they have a 13 members, you know how sj did react to that? They even work hard and prove other people that they were good enough to stay in this industry. With sj's success, kyuhyun joined the team and that marks sj as a official group but still, people around them still give a lot of negative comments about them. We all knew that sj is labelled as a "problematic group" because there are a lot of issues happened to the members before and even now but that doesn't destroy them, that even make them stronger. The fact that no one tried to invest with them, give them the acknowledgement they deserves it is us, elfs who worked hard to make things happened. From local achievements in korea, to international achievements sj received we elfs knew that they deserve each and every of that. Until they reached the peak, until now that a new generation of kpop is here and what's worst is these new fans mock them for being a flop without even trying to know their history, that trully hurts us and the reason behind is because sj worked so hard to get to where they are right now, even they are the major contributors of the spread of halyyu wave, still the amount of disrespect where the same from their debut era. We seriously don't care if they will be a fan of sj or not but what we want is for them to acknowledge their contribution, the contribution that lead to the growth of kpop community so how i wish new kpop fans reading my comment can respect sj because if you just knew them deeply, you'll surely fall for them even more because of the passion and humbleness this boys have 💙

The truth is I'm a 3rd generation kpop fan. I started with BTS and I Stan many 3rd and 4th generation groups. However when I came across suju I immediately fell for them and started learning about them. I don't know if it's okay for me to say this but even if I wasn't there from the beginning (technically it was impossible 😂 I was 3 when they debuted 😂) I can deeply understand all the struggles they went through and I love them like no other group 🤧 and I'm always feeling bad for staning them so late 😭 but I'm not leaving anymore. Wish many 3rd and 4th generation kpop fans could see your comment and show respect to 2nd generation groups. I myself am a baby ELF. ELFs Like you are a pretty good help for new fans to know more about Suju and I'm always thankful. They're the first Kpop group I've heard, (Sorry,Sorry) back in 2009, I Love their Sorry, Sorry Answer and I started casually Listening to Bigbang and 2ne1. But I don't consider myself a fan at that time. Then Last December I was suffering from depression and I turned my attention to social media and search for videos to at Least occupy my attention. In my country, a lot of 3rd gen kpop groups are popular to the youth so videos of such are prominently in youtube from time to time. But my attention was captured by Heechul in Knowing Brothers. Then I began researching about SJ when I found out he's a member. Then I fell in love (my ultimate bias is Yesung), and for the first time I wanted to attend a concert (I'm a fan of lots of artist mostly pop rock and ballads but I never had the urge to attend concerts cause its a waste of money?) and I even purchased an album. My friends are amazed because I'm not the type to spend money on such things but yeah here I am.
And as I get to know more of them especially their characters, I Love them more. I may be a baby ELF but I try my best to research informations about them from debut, good and bad.

I am 34 years old, I basically grew up watching them when only a few outside korea appreciates KPOP. Super Junior is the one and only group i will forever cherish, they will always be complete...To the active or inactive members (i hate to say former/ex members), always remember once an ELF always an ELF. This video brought tears to my eyes. I've been a huge fan of them since 2010 Mr. Simple era. I found them by accident through Heechul, and after searching them on UA-cam, I fell in love with all 15 of them. I've gone through most of my adult life listening to their songs, watching their performances and silently cheering them on. They've helped me through so many of my personal struggles in life, they are my inspiration, because they were SM's rejects that nobody wanted and nobody believed in, and while most bands who haven't experienced a margin of what SJ members have experienced throughout their careers have disbanded, these guys have stuck around and remained strong. I hope and pray that they continue to make music, have fun and spread love decades from now.
As a new elf, watching this is both heartwarming as it is heartbreaking. Though I'm fully aware of their popularity in their heyday, it wasn't until I chanced upon watching them in Weekly Idol that I got hooked. Since then been watching random Suju vids and mvs. Seeing their struggles and triumphs through this compiled clips makes me prouder that I stan these amazing group. My bias is Donghae but I love them all to bits. And though its a longshot to complete the 13, I promise to fight for the remaining 11. At first I only joined because I had a crush on Eunhyuk, but I eventually grew to love SJ and I haven't left the fandom. Being 21 years old, I became busier with college and job hunting but I will never stop supporting Super Junior💙 They're so talented in so many things and they taught me a lot of things about life. Growing up with SJ is something that I will forever nostalgically cherish. They're one of the few 2nd gen groups remaining, so let's keep it that way!

This is one of those proof that the 3rd gen k-pop fans should see that not only did they need to respect their idols sunbaenims but also learn that their idol now had it all easy. Not only in terms of streaming in social media but also in making other people recognise their group. SJ and the groups before them bore most of the hardship of k-pop industry to be recognised around the globe. SJ will always be my home, ELF will always be my fandom, and Sapphire Blue will always be my kingdom. I may listen or watch the new groups emerging now but they can't steal my heart like the SJ did. The feeling of home, being comfortable and mostly, the feeling of being proud seeing our boys standing on top from the very bottom will always be with me. Memories of them will always be in my mind and in my heart.
Family..are those who always with you trough up and down, and they have become a family for 12 years. Super Junior is the only group that I never worried either they will continue as a group or disband because from what i know all members have a same goal, they want to grow old together as a Super Junior. They have been through a lot of difficulties time and they stay still loyal till now. As long as ELF still there i believe SJ will always stand on the same place. And my big respect for Leeteuk, its not easy to lead a group for 12 years, have to face losing the members, being a pillar of his brothers. my eyes got teary whenever I crossed this kind of videos. Such a sweet yet touchy, they have been through a lot. Thanks to them, foreigners in kpop group are not a big deal anymore, no more mistreat from both company and broadcast station, no need to wear mask on stage as you are prohibited since non-korean. I still remember how sj members once said that no one have any expectation on them except shin dong yup since they are a group with too many members but now? It's a trend, tons of group have many members in it . I was wondering, if suju didnt exist, are the path will be this easier for idols nowadays? yes, we didnt hit millions of views over a day, but imma a proud granny elf (well not so since I'm still 21 actually and have stan them since I was 10 lol) cause at least we are the one who got numerous cover for sorry sorry and the song was like a national kpop anthem & every idol will cover the song in their early days. This 5-6 minutes is something unexplainable inexpressible for both ELFs and suju. Ah I have tears in my eyes. I still remember when I became an ELF it was around 2011. Even though I haven't had the opportunity to attend any of their concert but I promise if they have concert in my country no matter what I would definitely go. Had been ELF since 2008. I remember clearly at that year; every girls in my class have one bias in Suju , one by one. Since that day; They introduced me to Kpop, made me learnt Hangul, made me watch variety shows and understood downloading soo many videos so I can laugh during weekend. From 2008-2018 it’s been a long journey. I’m not sticking to them only, but Suju always have a place in heart: being played frequently on my Spotify now, til I’m working, woke me up in the morning. I remember clearly when Leeteuk enlisted, it was maybe one of the toughest time for members bcs Leeteuk’s leadership role is very strong. Honestly I’ve never seen a leader as responsible as Leeteuk amongst other groups (both newer or older) When the time for members to enlist one by one came and still going on til now. They did not give up and always produce smthg new for us despite lack of ‘success’ (in terms of winning) due to tough competition w/ newer idols. But still, they never stop performing, stop producing either it is solo, units, or full group cb. We all knew how many scandals SJ have been through. From health issue, scandal issue, personal issue. But still. Time prove it that they pull through. Til upcoming 3 years, 5 years, I hope Suju can continue just like now. The worst part is how the fandoms disrespect senior group even when THEIR FAVES look up to them. Super Junior are recognized as kings by pretty much every third generation kpop group, yet many fans discredit their achievements and talent to make their faves look better. I see this mostly as an Army, since BTS is getting big right now. They broke a lot of records and we should be proud, but I can't help but defend SuJu when people say the famous line: "BTS paved the way". Many people don't even know what senior groups did, and ignorance is everyone's worst enemy. It's easy to say "BTS invented kpop" when you don't even know Super Junior was the first kpop group to hold a world tour or to win 2 American prizes at the People Choice Awards. I wish people would educate themselves at least a little bit about senior idols before giving their faves all the credit.

This is beautiful...so so beautiful...I remember Super Junior was the first group/idols that I started to stan seriously. I liked a couple of songs from other groups, but super junior was always like home, where I’d always come back to and where I’d always feel most comfortable. The first album I got was a D&E album that my best friend bought me for my birthday and it’s been with me through some of the most important years of my life. I’ve amassed several suju albums since then and Suju remains the only group I have and will willingly spend money on. I admire them, not only for their talents, but also because they’re such a tight knit family. Because Super Junior, ELF, and Sapphire blue will always be the prettiest words in my world.

When sj started with the knowledge of them being disbanded after a year because they are a project group and now sj will be celebrating their 14th anniversary this 2018 you will probably know that sj's brotherhood is definitely a very strong one. It's not easy for a group to keep running actively in this time span but they really did and the fact that they are just a experiment group that has no future back then. When no people believes in them, when people did talk shits about them being a suicidal group and how come they have a 13 members, you know how sj did react to that? They even work hard and prove other people that they were good enough to stay in this industry. With sj's success, kyuhyun joined the team and that marks sj as a official group but still, people around them still give a lot of negative comments about them. We all knew that sj is labelled as a "problematic group" because there are a lot of issues happened to the members before and even now but that doesn't destroy them, that even make them stronger. The fact that no one tried to invest with them, give them the acknowledgement they deserves it is us, elfs who worked hard to make things happened. From local achievements in korea, to international achievements sj received we elfs knew that they deserve each and every of that. Until they reached the peak, until now that a new generation of kpop is here and what's worst is these new fans mock them for being a flop without even trying to know their history, that trully hurts us and the reason behind is because sj worked so hard to get to where they are right now, even they are the major contributors of the spread of halyyu wave, still the amount of disrespect where the same from their debut era. We seriously don't care if they will be a fan of sj or not but what we want is for them to acknowledge their contribution, the contribution that lead to the growth of kpop community so how i wish new kpop fans reading my comment can respect sj because if you just knew them deeply, you'll surely fall for them even more because of the passion and humbleness this boys have 💙
New kpop fans should thanks suju and all the 2nd kpop gen. They spread the hallyu and major contributor of kwave. So w/o them theres no 3rd gen groups. They learn from their seniors.

The truth is I'm a 3rd generation kpop fan. I started with BTS and I Stan many 3rd and 4th generation groups. However when I came across suju I immediately fell for them and started learning about them. I don't know if it's okay for me to say this but even if I wasn't there from the beginning (technically it was impossible 😂 I was 3 when they debuted 😂) I can deeply understand all the struggles they went through and I love them like no other group 🤧 and I'm always feeling bad for staning them so late 😭 but I'm not leaving anymore. Wish many 3rd and 4th generation kpop fans could see your comment and show respect to 2nd generation groups. I myself am a baby ELF. ELFs Like you are a pretty good help for new fans to know more about Suju and I'm always thankful. They're the first Kpop group I've heard, (Sorry,Sorry) back in 2009, I Love their Sorry, Sorry Answer and I started casually Listening to Bigbang and 2ne1. But I don't consider myself a fan at that time. Then Last December I was suffering from depression and I turned my attention to social media and search for videos to at Least occupy my attention. In my country, a lot of 3rd gen kpop groups are popular to the youth so videos of such are prominently in youtube from time to time. But my attention was captured by Heechul in Knowing Brothers. Then I began researching about SJ when I found out he's a member. Then I fell in love (my ultimate bias is Yesung), and for the first time I wanted to attend a concert (I'm a fan of lots of artist mostly pop rock and ballads but I never had the urge to attend concerts cause its a waste of money?) and I even purchased an album. My friends are amazed because I'm not the type to spend money on such things but yeah here I am.
And as I get to know more of them especially their characters, I Love them more. I may be a baby ELF but I try my best to research informations about them from debut, good and bad.

Super Junior is the one and only group i will forever cherish, they will always be complete...To the active or inactive members (i hate to say former/ex members), always remember once an ELF always an ELF. This video brought tears to my eyes. I've been a huge fan of them since 2010 Mr. Simple era. I found them by accident through Heechul, and after searching them on UA-cam, I fell in love with all 15 of them. I've gone through most of my adult life listening to their songs, watching their performances and silently cheering them on. They've helped me through so many of my personal struggles in life, they are my inspiration, because they were SM's rejects that nobody wanted and nobody believed in, and while most bands who haven't experienced a margin of what SJ members have experienced throughout their careers have disbanded, these guys have stuck around and remained strong. I hope and pray that they continue to make music, have fun and spread love decades from now.
As a new elf, watching this is both heartwarming as it is heartbreaking. Though I'm fully aware of their popularity in their heyday, it wasn't until I chanced upon watching them in Weekly Idol that I got hooked. Since then been watching random Suju vids and mvs. Seeing their struggles and triumphs through this compiled clips makes me prouder that I stan these amazing group. My bias is Donghae but I love them all to bits. And though its a longshot to complete the 13, I promise to fight for the remaining 11. The love they have for each other and for us Elfs is immeasurable, hence I give equal love. Such respect for our well deserved LEGENDS.

This hits me in the feels 😭 I knew them since I was 9 and then I became an ELF at 13, which is back in 2012. At first I only joined because I had a crush on Eunhyuk, but I eventually grew to love SJ and I haven't left the fandom. Being 21 years old, I became busier with college and job hunting but I will never stop supporting Super Junior💙 They're so talented in so many things and they taught me a lot of things about life. Growing up with SJ is something that I will forever nostalgically cherish. They're one of the few 2nd gen groups remaining, so let's keep it that way!

This is one of those proof that the 3rd gen k-pop fans should see that not only did they need to respect their idols sunbaenims but also learn that their idol now had it all easy. Not only in terms of streaming in social media but also in making other people recognise their group. SJ and the groups before them bore most of the hardship of k-pop industry to be recognised around the globe.
SJ will always be my home, ELF will always be my fandom, and Sapphire Blue will always be my kingdom. I may listen or watch the new groups emerging now but they can't steal my heart like the SJ did. The feeling of home, being comfortable and mostly, the feeling of being proud seeing our boys standing on top from the very bottom will always be with me. Memories of them will always be in my mind and in my heart.

Family..are those who always with you trough up and down, and they have become a family for 12 years. Super Junior is the only group that I never worried either they will continue as a group or disband because from what i know all members have a same goal, they want to grow old together as a Super Junior. They have been through a lot of difficulties time and they stay still loyal till now. As long as ELF still there i believe SJ will always stand on the same place. And my big respect for Leeteuk, its not easy to lead a group for 12 years, have to face losing the members, being a pillar of his brothers. The 3rd generation leader should learn from Leeteuk #truelegend

Thanks to them, foreigners in kpop group are not a big deal anymore, no more mistreat from both company and broadcast station, no need to wear mask on stage as you are prohibited since non-korean. I still remember how sj members once said that no one have any expectation on them except shin dong yup since they are a group with too many members but now? It's a trend, tons of group have many members in it . I was wondering, if suju didnt exist, are the path will be this easier for idols nowadays?
yes, we didnt hit millions of views over a day, but imma a proud granny elf (well not so since I'm still 21 actually and have stan them since I was 10 lol) cause at least we are the one who got numerous cover for sorry sorry and the song was like a national kpop anthem & every idol will cover the song in their early days. This 5-6 minutes is something unexplainable inexpressible for both ELFs and suju. Ah I have tears in my eyes. I still remember when I became an ELF it was around 2011. Even though I haven't had the opportunity to attend any of their concert but I promise if they have concert in my country no matter what I would definitely go. They are someone I rely in my hard times. And I as an elf feel so proud to see them grow as a person. Same goes for ELFs. They started from zero and won millions of hearts. Had been ELF since 2008. I remember clearly at that year; every girls in my class have one bias in Suju , one by one. Since that day;
They introduced me to Kpop, made me learnt Hangul, made me watch variety shows and understood downloading soo many videos so I can laugh during weekend.
From 2008-2018 it’s been a long journey. I’m not sticking to them only, but Suju always have a place in heart: being played frequently on my Spotify now, til I’m working, woke me up in the morning.
I remember clearly when Leeteuk enlisted, it was maybe one of the toughest time for members bcs Leeteuk’s leadership role is very strong. Honestly I’ve never seen a leader as responsible as Leeteuk amongst other groups (both newer or older)
When the time for members to enlist one by one came and still going on til now. They did not give up and always produce smthg new for us despite lack of ‘success’ (in terms of winning) due to tough competition w/ newer idols. But still, they never stop performing, stop producing either it is solo, units, or full group cb.
We all knew how many scandals SJ have been through. From health issue, scandal issue, personal issue. But still. Time prove it that they pull through.
Til upcoming 3 years, 5 years, I hope Suju can continue just like now. Being their humble self, hardworking self, making music and didn’t stop inspiring us.
