An illness recently left me with limited mobility in all my joints, but by my own will to regain strength and my past interest in liquid dance, and finding these videos, I am beginning to heal my body and regain mobility. I first saw identical style in Dallas dnb and break scene circa '99-'01. I wish i had not been so shy and befriended some of those dancers and learned from them. Thanks to you and the othersthat recorded these vids, and thanks for spread such positive and healing energies.

I know man, me too. My shyness shunned me away from many things such as soccer (as a kid) and dancing. I am planning to also come back and dance popping. I hope you come back stronger than ever. It's never late to do it while you got your feet. Best wishes!

Man, I started back in 99', went to my first party in Chicago. Saw all the kids dancing like this. My mentor was so smooth and fluid. He is the one that really got me hooked. I remember trying to do it and I could never make it look as smooth as him. I just kept practicing and practicing. A couple years later I saw the arcade video and I couldn't stop watching. I studied and watched and practiced so hard. I would like to think after 18 years I have honed my technique pretty well and you were a huge inspiration. I saw your video at confluence talking about orbital and digital liquid. I know all dance forms will grow and change, but I really do not like the direction liquid has gone, which I guess would be the more digital side of it. Everyone has their own style, but the foundation of liquid which this video represents to a t, has been lost I feel. People have gotten to technical with it. To me it doesn't represent at all what liquid truly is. I watch all these confluence videos and I just can't get into it. I don't feel like anyone is dancing and every move seems so pre-planned, thought out, rigid, and just slow, so slow (which is fine, to a point). What happened to the flow and fluidity of the dance? I feel like I'm watching more funk styles with a small amount of liquid thrown in. I'm all for throwing in some other styles, but liquid should still be the focal point. With all that said, no disrespect to those guys, they are all good dancers, just not my favorite take on the style. I just want to say thanks for all you have done over the years and the inspiration you have been to me along my journey of honing my liquid skills.

This is more miming than liquid. This is Probably his worst video.
FYI waving/liquid was not invented by him or his crew. Liquid dancing is a freestyle form based off of breakdancing called “waving”
Also, they did not invent white gloves at raves either as they claim.
We’ve been breaking with white gloves since the 80’s...js 😅

@LPERIC you were my inspiration to learn any kind of dance to electronic music...I already listened to trance and jungle but never saw it visually expressed so fluently. I'm working on perfecting and integrating several styles, including newer ones, but liquid has been my major influence. Thanks for changing my life; that was at least a decade ago and it's been an amazing ride so far.

Choice of Eden Transmission's "I'm So High" is also perfect - very subtle and appropriate to the development of your dance moves. And that's what makes the dancing awesome - perfect combination of impressive and subtle gestures.
    Thanks. You're a big inspiration.

Just 'feel' the music and it'll come to you. I've been doin the liquid pop and lock since '99 and still haven't got it mastered but am well on my way. Keep 'flowing' and you'll get it!
