    What an exciting way of life! I am a retired RN and it's too late for me to join all of you young, hard-working, very smart people, but I commend you for going after a career with Space X! The city of Boca Chica and Brownsville are also going to benefit hugely due to Space X building their space hub there. This is so exciting and I'm happy to see this science project take off and change so many lives on a personal level. Best of luck to all of you who strive to reach for the stars. God bless you all.

      Moses was 120 years old when he finished his mission, so never say never. People are living to be a lot older these days. If you exercise and get proper nutrition, then you can stay fit until your end. Missions to planets will need elders from the perspective of wisdom. Wisdom comes from living and learning. I work with medical doctors as part of the facility we own, and RNs are equal to, if not superior, to MDs in many ways! If this is your goal, you should pursue it with gusto! I am 61 and will continue until I am 120, then see if GOD allows me more time. LOL

      Don't fall in love with a company .. .they won't love you back. Over my 40 years of engineering, I've learned .... YOU ARE DISPOSIBLE, they do not love you. Love yourself, work for yourself, and be ready to move to the next big opportunity without regret .. and KEEP MOVING before they trash you. That is the path of the most successful engineers, seriously. I have close to 100 patents, and have saved my millions for retirement soon.. by upwardly changing jobs every 5-10 years. I have a concern with a couple things, maybe they are easy to answer for smart heads here...
      What happens to all the water that is taken and used up outside of the planet? Eventually they will be doing these daily and using a lot more water to export out of our closed system here. Seems like a major concern for the future of this industry.
      Secondly... What about the damage and future of space items that fall back down onto normal parts, since left over and missing parts are now cluttering the belt of our system?

    • @ytQrash
      @ytQrash Рік тому +22

      @@dertythegrower Starship does not use water for propulsion so if you mean water for passengers and settlement activities, the minimum needed will be taken on a flight. At the Moon and Mars, long-term settlement will locate and collect water instead of shipping it from Earth.
      Every day tons of small rock and other interplanetary debris falls onto Earth (yes, really) and this contains water, usually bound in minerals just like rocks on Earth. Entry into our atmosphere will heat the material to vaporization which will add some of that water content to our atmosphere. The rest will remain bound in whatever material reaches the ground.
      SpaceX's Falcon 9 first stage lands or falls back to Earth. The second stage is purposely brought back into the atmosphere where it breaks up and falls to the surface, so it does not add to the orbital debris. In the (near) future Starship and its Super Heavy booster will be fully reusable so that system will not add orbital debris.

    Happy Thanksgiving and Merry Christmas Space X! My wife and I just got finished watching the funniest, most entertaining holiday film marathon that I've ever seen! LOL Well it feels that way anyways because of our recently getting hitched, but everything lately feels so different, now I really understand the metaphor in Interview with the Vampire sir, because Louie wakes up a new man but also an infantile vampire. I feel like my senses are really coming to me now. I hope you guys have better luck with your launches from Florida sir. I heard that you guys were getting the X instead of the green light, well that's lame. Maybe they don't like the fact that you guys have your returnable rockets while they just have one-and-done LOL! You got to meet Jay Leno? That's tight! He is a funny man and I love his enthusiasm for classic cars. Oh yeah, I heard that not only did my dad work on F'4's, he also worked on F-15's and maybe 16's. The 16's I feel 80% sure about LOL. Bless you guys and be careful and I'd love to be part of a mission to visit the moon! I was looking at it when we had the solar eclipse or lunar eclipse, and the surface was mostly red. Later on I saw it half lit up with regular sunlight. I haven't been able to have a listen yet, but I saw that you guys posted some mission audio. That's pretty sweet! I was listening to a CD I made awhile back, and it feels like a trophy to me, because I had tried out for this band once, and they didn't like my skill level being so high which I thought was stupid as hell, cuz I mastered their audio tape and they didn't want a copy of it. So I was studying it again, and these guys had maybe one or 2 songs that actually followed a metronome! Oh well LOL I love my track library. Be careful in your experiments guys and happy holidays
