I went with the natural titanium finish. Some people don't realize that scratches can be polished out on the natural titanium. I had the 7 Pro before the 8 with the natural titanium bezel and after a year had a few scratches and scuffs on it. I was able to easily polish all of them out and it looked brand new afterwards.

The new fenix 8 is better than past itterations, the software is better, sensors are better, battery life is better, and the look and feel are better. Anyone bashing this watch doesnt own it.
As an owner of the stainless steel bezel version of the original Epix Gen 2, I for sure would go silver here. But I do know the dark look is preferred by many. For me tho it’s silver all the way. 👍🏻👍🏻
I bought the bare titanium even though I prefer the DLC grey bezel. The scratches that you will eventually get on the DLC bezel are permanent, but even though the bare titanium scratches much easier, the scratches are easily removed with a jewelers polishing pad.
There is a lot of discussion here about scratches. People, there are protective caps made of soft plastic in the big Amazon store for a few cents that you can simply put over your watch when you are doing outdoor activities. The buttons are left out and can be operated. At home and when you are wearing evening wear, you can simply take them off again. That is why my Fenix 7x Sapphire still looks like it has just come out of the store after two years.

For me was main reason for black 1. iam wearing bussines stuff 2. old 7x was titanium and scratched so bad it looks like 10dollar alieexpress watch 3. Black color at cars or anything is just supperior to combine. 4. and not last... the orange thing on the side freakin make the watch unwerable with anything than orange strap. ... I combined 51mm fenix 8 with old dark brown leather strap from 7x and it looks soo good❤️🙏😊. I ordered black one 47, think it looks more rugged and I wear it almost 24*7 so I want to have something which is not bright and draws my attention. But it’s completely a personal choice, both colour are beautiful
As an infantry Marine I can tell you that you’ll get reflection and shine from the sapphire crystal much more so than you get from the thin bezel. So for a “tactical, low vis” viewpoint, the bezel is irrelevant. Just my $0.02.
Cheers for showing the watches side by side, I was stuck between them and I have seen a couple of vids now and the silver version shows the scratches straight away, ill stick to the black one

Thank you so much for this video. I was leaning to the raw titanium, but now am going with black. Garmin shows the carbon grey DLC to look very similar to the Fenix 7X, but your video shows a nice contrast from the bezel to body. The raw Ti one now looks to have too much of a color contrast for me. I have a Tag, but never wear it anymore. Too heavy and too much "bling". My Fenix 7X only has one or two very slight pits on the edge of the bezel. Every video I've seen of the raw Ti has scratches on it. Not what I would want for a watch this price.
I can’t work out which to go with it’s either the silver with the silver titanium bracelet or the grey and but the grey titanium bracelet separate. I think the grey will be different and unique

The silver titanium is going to look better in the long term.
It seems petty but I just wish they made the 47mm versions with 24mm bands instead of 22mm. This is most likely a deal-breaker for me.
Without a doubt, the silver is the superior choice. Deep scratches on the gray will be more noticeable.
I don't know, I had the black DLC version before for over a year and it looked brand new when I sold it.
From the videos I've seen the bare titanium scratches easier. It definitely looks nicer though.
the dlc coating is suoer scratch resistant. I have a black dlc titanium fenix 7 since May 2023 and it looks like fresh out of the box.

I think at this price the body should be full metal. The plastic sides makes this not compatible with dress up wear.
Because the Fenix never had a full metal body and never will. Because than it would be a Marq and not a Fenix
It's a shame to offer a watch with a plastic case for this price. At the same time, another brand offers a zirconium alloy watch for less money.
Breitling, Tudor - there’s a lot of watch companies that sell watches 3, 4x this amount that are plastic/composite…. Just food for thought
