As much as I love old style NCS too, I don’t think it’s perfect in any way, some songs a few years ago were flawed still and even though modern NCS today has more flawed songs if you think about it, it really isn’t that terrible than you think. I just want NCS to review closely on what songs should be put in the label. (Coming from someone who found NCS in 2012 😂)
@@JimmyButler22989 I found NCS in 2018 and knew many songs from 2012-2015 NCS, and yea, many newer songs sound like the quality control was asleep. But I know a fair share of old deleted NCS releases that were painful to listen to, even from the 2012-2015 period, it just happened less back then :P
@@meehdrescher Ah, you’re different from me then since I found NCS in 2012 and I listened mostly to the songs from 2011-13. I kid you not the NCS label was much more different back then and it wasn’t really that much of an EDM label until the late 2012-2014 change.

the thumbnails were brought up during a QnA on their discord a few weeks ago and its the fact that youtube videos just perform better with faces in them now, and since there won't be many occasions where there would be a face in the video they have "had to resort to using faces in thumbnails". sam (a part of the ncs team and owner of the server, who also hosts the QnA and other things like that) was pretty adimant that the thumbnails aren't going to go away any time soon
i also wish this wasn't the case but i guess we are going to have to deal with it :'(
