How nice that you have so many siblings. I’ve always envied those who came from large families. I had only the one older brother, and he passed unexpectedly in the summer. Did Ross have any siblings? I’m in agreement with you about the new scarf, that it’s too wide, and those color blocks aren’t complimenting each other. Maybe, like you mentioned, they’d look nice if striped. Is chenille yarn easy to frog? I’ve not worked with it. Probably twenty or so years ago, those skinny scarves knit from novelty yarn were all the rage. I’d always wanted to learn to knit, and since those became popular about the same time as UA-cam tutorials were coming on the scene, the timing was great for me to learn. So, that was my first knitting project. I made several of those hideous things, lol. I’m glad you got a camera, as we, your viewers are also benefitting from it. 😊
I was one of six kids. We lost our brother about 8 years ago. So it’s the five of us now. Sorry about your brother. That’s tough, your only sibling. Ross had two younger sisters. They both passed before he did. None of them had children of their own. I remember those skinny scarves. Everyone made and wore them. I guess they were easy to make. Hi Lynda,firstly as i watched your water walk and you mention ice on the pond it is currently 40c here.3.20pm 16thDec 😩that camera Christmas present was a life buoy for you ,iam so pleased as you are so creative we can see it on your photographic captures.I also think your new scarf is too wide,but i like the colours together,it’s all a personal choice isn’t it.I love Noro yarn and have knit a few things with it and still have a few in the pile 😝 like lots of things now it is out of my price range.Have a lovely evening,looking forward to seeing you tomorrow xxx K 🇦🇺
Hi Kay, I think I prefer the cold over heat and humidity. Well I took the scarf apart. Now onto version 2.0. I record my UA-cam videos in my phone. Because I have the phone, I haven’t used my real camera in a while. But my camera takes awesome pictures. I just need to get a new battery for it.
Hari Om Frogging a project that is disappointing is a perfectly okay thing to do - therapeutic, even! The tan and black as smaller stripes might indeed be a better option - a bit like a bee's colouring. And your tree isn't "kinda"... it properly is beautiful!!! YAM xx
