夜の射水市海老江西町の獅子殺し、2024.4.20 ―日本版エクソシストのようだ。－

年に一回だけ、朝から神社での祈り舞、町内各戸の邪気を祓うための舞、夕方からは祝い舞が行われ、すべて終わってから獅子殺しの舞が町内の公民館前で行われました。海老江西町では、22時半ごろから２３時近くまで獅子舞スタッフの若い連中だけでノンストップのパフォーマンスがありました。遅い時間だったので観客は殆どいませんでした。ストーリーは中町とほぼ同じです。観客に見せるための踊りではなく、若い獅子舞スタッフの息の合った時に自然発生したものです。舞は獅子殺しのエッセンスだけを抽出した、きびきびした、鋭い舞でした。素晴らしかったです。
天狗は、西欧のエクソシストのような存在のようです。

Only once a year, there is a prayer dance at the shrine in the morning, a dance to exorcise evil spirits from each house in the town, a celebratory dance in the evening, and after all is finished, a lion killing dance is held in front of the community center in the town. In Ebie Nishimachi, from around 10:30 p.m. to nearly 11 p.m., there was a non-stop performance by young lion dance staff. Since it was late, there were hardly any spectators. The story is almost the same as Nakamachi. It was not a dance to be shown to the audience, but something that occurred spontaneously when the young lion dance staff got along well with each other. The dance was sharp and sharp, capturing only the essence of the lion slayer. It was wonderful.
Tengu are like Western exorcists.

そうですね。似ていますね。人間とアルコールの話ですが、日本人は元々お酒が大好きだったらしく、それがよくないことにつながるということからか、長い年月を経て、現代では、飲まない/飲めない人が半分半分に進化したそうです。これはよいことなんでしょうかね。
