It's not auto tune or pitch correct setting. It's just a lot of reverb and concert hall filter/effect but that's the way Ally sounds in the movie when she performs this song (hence, she's performing at her own concert). If this beautiful and talented lady had auto tune setting applied it would have corrected her when she missed just a couple almost unnoticeable notes during the high notes in the chorus Midway through and again during the bridge. To me this is as raw as it gets but we all are entitled to our opinions. I think it's an amazing cover Kimberly! You're voice is very soothing and heartfelt during this cover and that's the most important factor I think when singing a power ballad like this one. It's the emotion behind the music that moves the audience and captures hearts! Thank you for sharing sweetie. Keep up the hard work it will be rewarding in the end!!!
I was looking for a good cover, and found a great one! What an amazing cover! This has all that depth of emotions the original has, and it gave me goosebumps as well. You know a performance is gonna be great when it captivates you in the first few seconds she started singing. It's one thing to just sing it well, it's really another to actually make you feel those emotions. I love this cover, particularly the opening, her voices feels very "open" if that makes sense.
