I love this video. I like that you showed the comparisons with how Nick treated Charlie and how Sebastian treated him. It still bothers me that Sebastian got away with forcing himself on Charlie, he should have been arrested or at least expelled. But at the same time it is realistic, as many people do get away with this. I haven't read all the graphic novels yet so I don't know everything that happens with Sebastian but I hope he will either redeem himself after a lot of work or be in trouble for what he did.

I absolutely adore this video! Like I have love for vids that just focus on the lighter parts of Nick/Charlie being all cute and in love, but there is this darker edge as well because of Charlie's past with the bullying and Ben, and it's not like Nick is ignorant of that until later on he knows from go, Charlie opening up to him about Ben is one of their big steps to becoming friends and it always will be. And like Charlie was in this dark place but Nick was so nice and good that Charlie felt he could be open and vulnerable, and nick picking up on all the little signs that Charlie isn't okay - and just wanting so desperately to show him he's worthy of love and deserved so much better - it's always going to be a huge part of their story and it's so cool to see that handled and handled so well in a vid! ❤

I hate what Ben did to him, in a way, he traumatized him, because think about how scared Charlie is to say the wrong thing to Nick now
True-but Nick and Charlie do have very good communication, so I think Charlie will become more comfortable bc of that, over time. And by the end of the season he knows Nick isn’t going anywhere. I mean, he’s still naturally a rather insecure person (who always has and will likely continue to have the tendency to overthink and self-blame-a tendency that yes, Ben exacerbated). But Nick is always making sure to let him know that It Is Okay. I think everything with Ben will of course stick with Charlie-but thankfully being with Nick is like the best situation for healing the most that he can. (But yeah there would of course be trauma. *tosses Ben into the void*)
@@SoniaJoie I completely agree, charlie seems very comfortable with nick now, I meant at the beginning, when he started liking him at first. Of course, you're right, that is the way charlie just is, and you're also right that what Ben did will always stick with him. Also lmao "the void" 🤣🤣🤣
