It took 2 years for McDonalds to come up with the double McChicken, I wonder how long it would take for them to develop a proper Chicken Sandwhich. The Compeition is way ahead of McDonalds.
100% agree. We here in Canada have never gotten a "good" chicken sandwich like the US has had in one form or another. Even our premium Mccrispy is still chopped up pieces formed together. McChicken patties are tough as rubber and the Jr chicken is mostly ground up scraps with a load of gristle.
I love it i think it depends on location or who is making it i got it today and i got alot of the hot honey sauce it was spicy not to badly but a nice burn i can taste the regular mayo sauce the only thing i couldn’t taste was the jalapeños bit over all in my score i give it a 8/10 but over all the regular is better I probably wont get it again
McCrispy is terrible, overall. I think they are making a bad move offering more of these than the regular McChicken. They're trying to fix something that isn't broken. Now, if there was a regular sized version of the junior chicken patty.... Agree on the jalapenos. That sandwich was just sad. For over $7, you should have had sauce oozing out the sides and a pile of lettuce in the carton after yo pulled the sandwich out.
The prices of everything at the fast food restaurants are insane. If I was hungry, I could probably eat 5 of those sandwiches but not for $35 bucks. 🤣🤣🤣🤣 I buy whole 6 pound chickens for .87 cents per pound and usually around $6 bucks. A man has to use his head huh ? Good video, Jessie ! 😀

Had this today in Vancouver. I enjoyed it, but not for the price (think the combo was like 14 bucks?). I agreed with Jesse that the jalapenos are a complete non-entity. The honey is noticeable, it's a fairly thick glaze. More sweet with a bit of spice than spicy-sweet. The rest is the same as a regular McCrispy (good but not as good as the McChicken). Wanted it to be more distinct than it was, and the value wasn't there IMO. At 14 bucks I rather spend a couple bucks more and get the Fatburger Buffalo Chicken sandwich (has this channel ever done Fatburger? Can't remember seeing it)
The jalapeno question...why not fresh? The crispy jalapeno product comes from the commissary kitchen...prepared in vast quantities and in a way that anybody can apply them to an ordered burger. A consistent product with a predictable quality level. Fresh jalapenos present a whole range of problems for the average McD outlet. Managing a perishable fresh product...ordering and storing... the aftermath of mismanagement of same...food waste, customer food-borne illness. Finding staff who not only show up for work but who also have Foodsafe to do kitchen prep, and monitoring the output from the poorly trained and variably interested staffers. You have evidence right there on your cutting board of the apparent "best effort" of the staff at the McD outlet where you bought your order. They can't manage mayonnaise and chopped lettuce, which come out of a portion squeezer and a cold tray respectively. So imagine one of these losers getting their grubby little mitts on a cold tray of sliced fresh jalapenos. Total chaos. Lawsuits. They can't even manage napkins!!

It had a spicy red pepper bun, a ghost pepper aioli, jalapeño cheese, red onion and FRESH diced jalapeños- not pickled jalapeños, and their spicy chicken patty. It was the greatest chicken sandwich I’ve ever had and anything “spicy” that comes out from any fast food place, I will forever compare to the standard Wendy’s put out all those years ago. So mostly everything is a disappointment lol

Dammit, I got to try one of these and now they're suddenly unavailable at any location close to me. Is there a crispy jalapeno shortage or something? The secret is to triple all the toppings, which you can do for free. The extra sauce, lettuce and jalapenos turns it into a much better sandwich.
why do they want to skimp on the sauce and fresh jalapenos... someone gets paid like a million a year to develop this stuff and this is the best they come up with.
mine was the opposite. I had a good amount of mayo, but the amount of hot and honey I got was the same amount of mayo you got. Mine was basically a McCrispy, besides one bite I could taste the hot n honey.
Just tried it. They loaded mine with the honey and the McCrispy sauce (I even got napkins)! It wouldn't have been a smash for me. They definitely made yours wrong... too bad!
Yeah Jesse it doesn't look appealing to me at all...The only Chicken Sandwich that I ever liked but can't remember from where had sliced Amerrican cheddar on it with Mustard on it that combo works for my tastes all least.
They had something similar here in the states , had VERY LITTLE SAUCE on it. Like barely a teaspoon. It was beyond disappointing. In the videos where you smash these products, I wish you’d still make a phone call to the restaurants and tell them how they could improve their product and why it sucks.
I would get a regular mcchicken no sauce make my own hot honey and put the whole breast into a bowl so it’s coated and it would beat mc Donald’s version.
At the beginning of the video, you were a little bit fired up, and then as each second goes by, you get closer to being on fire from disappointment. Also, you should buy rolls of paper towels for the times that you don't get napkins.

Totally repulsive. I could have got 3 mcchickens for the price of one crispy combo. It tasted overdry without the burnt flavour..somehow. i had to go ask for more sauce, so I vould actually get it down and taste something. So bland I forgot it qas supposed to have hot peppers on it. The angry Whopper is much better, and worth your money. Oh, I almost forgot the long hair in my drink cup before I even got to put soda in it.
