Can I answer why mba is this way :- I would like to give answer to this question by 1 example , suppose there are 2 points A and B ,A is my starting point where I'm standing today ,and B is my ultimate destination where I want to reach in the future, now there can be several ways I can go from point A to point B , like I can go by zig-zag line , curve like and straight line , but straight like is most significant and appropriate way to reach that point B and that straight line path is mba . Also mba provide essential managerial skills , and meaningful insight which is necessary in today's corporate world , and these are main reasons why I want to do MBA !
Hey Vaidik, Of course you can answer this question this way - although you should be ready to answer follow up questions based on the example you've given. The panelist could easily ask what makes you think MBA is the straight path. The straight path would be learn that specific skill that you want to instead of an MBA which is a major time and money investment. Do be prepared with answers for questions like these if you wish to go with that answer. Hope this helps. Best Wishes!
What are your genuine reasons, Amruta? The answer has to revolve around that. Are you planning to switch domains and hence you are looking at an MBA with a specific specialisation? You have realised that there are some gaps in your skills and knowledge that you believe would be bridged through a second MBA? Introspect and craft an answer based on your genuine reasons.
