Real life, there's no way a battery could sustain a voltage level that high. Lightning is way more destructive than it'll ever be helpful, so, if it does charge them, awesome, but if it doesn't, science checks out.
Could make the battery drain be less punishing from lightning, then have an alternator/convertor/charger block (unlocked later in the tech progression) to convert lightning to battery power
I think, game have so many enemy. They spawn in couple and to density. Enemy not attack each other like in TerraTech game, so they gang on my tech and make it soo hard.
aaah yes, this FREAKING LIGHTNING, AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA lucky me I found ways to survive :) Tip for people who can focus on building a base: Build a roof. Lightningh doesn't pass trough the roof.
I don't know what's wrong with the game but I play on Ultra 5760x1080resolution and game textures don't look good at all looks pretty much a low res textures (the ground)
will the terratech ( normal one ) still get updated and will console still have very very very VERY delayed updates with no option to increase block cap ?
I really hope world capacity allowance isn't in terratech worlds. If it is I will not play. In addition, I would love to see airborne and naval enemies make an appearence, that would be amazing.

Does stationary lightning rod protects from zzzap tree, when placed nearby?

I built a base lightning rod and still got struck multiple times on the platform next to it
