By the way, did you find useful Acustica GOLD (neve) for electronic production? or there are better suitable versions for it among Acustica to your taste?
I find Gold useful when more aggressive intervention is needed EQ-wisely, I use 3081 module most of the time and sometimes H073 also Gold compressor now smacks really nicely so I started using it in parallel for drums. Other than that it is really necessary to know each plugin as if it is hardware. Test each one especially EQs and Preamps to find out in general how gentle or aggressive is their behaviour. And then after a while when you work on the certain material that needs for example a gentle nice boost in highs or mids you know few potential candidates for the job. For example latest Sunray suite EQ is really nice for gentle high end boost, even for midrange is still gentle enough not to sound nasty. My favorites Acustica EQs regarding nice and gentle hi end boost apart from Sunray is Ruby and little bit more heavy one Azure. Gold and Ebony EQs I use mostly for more distinguished mid range work, changing the character a bit more drastically and Pink for aggressive electric guitars boost at 8k usually so they come out more. From compressors lately I use Tiger on anything from vocals to bass guitar. I will test Sunray compressor on bass more I have a feeling it may be good for that as well as for vocals still up to debate.
