- AV-8B Plus has been added to the US air tree in Seek and Destroy Major War Thunder update. It also got it's AIM-120A AMRAAMs at BR of 12.3. Harrier is an extremely deadly and versatile aircraft with FOX-3 payload.

Imagine just unlocking your 11.3 BR aircraft. You've got nothing but two rear aspect IR missiles. You have to face off against Aim-120 missiles with no chaff.

@@BinHandler12 You are such an idiot, 11.3 planes dont have good enough RWRs to face these missiles, nor the flight model to counter them.
@@BinHandler12 ah yes because someone who has just unlocked their first 11.3 would know how to do that? in this scenario they havent been at the BR of PD radar missiles before that point the most they woulda had to deal with are aim 7 Es or aim 9 Cs

I've been playing the F-15J a lot lately. In a downtier (and it sees a LOT of downtiers) it absolutely DOMINATES. However, since it's the same br as the AV-8B+, you can and will end up eating an Aim-120 whenever they get below you while you're pretty much effortlessly cleaning up the higher altitudes.

I‘m currently grinding the US-Tech Tree with the F-4S. I have to face the AV-8B regular, be it the italian one or the US version. It’s doable most of the time but the Harrier needs a BR increase to at least 12.7.
The amount of top tier players who don’t know how to notch is astounding.
