- Welcome back to Never Never Growing Up!
This latest series covers our most recent trip to the UK and Disneyland Paris where we spent the best 10 days sightseeing and playing tourists with my family! This included a 2 day night stay in Disneyland Paris where we stayed at the beautiful Sequoia Lodge and explored all that the French parks have to offer.
In this video, it's our Disneyland Paris travel day! After a quick drive from my Mum's house to London Southend airport, we hop on the plane and find ourselves, within 45 minutes, at Charles de Gaulle airport in France! We find our way to the correct train before finally arriving at Marne La Vallee aka the Disneyland Paris train station!
Our hotel, the Sequoia Lodge, was right there on property so after checking in, we show you a quick room and hotel tour, then head in to the Disney Village for some long awaited food at Anette's Diner and some shopping! The Disney Village has the best stores!!!
Then, it's time to get some sleep and re-energize before a day of park hopping at Disneyland Paris... more to come next week!

Loved this video so much! Being from the US it's always so good to learn how to work out the trains in both France and England. How long of a walk is it from the train station to Disney Village and then on to Sequoia Lodge? It looks like a really nice hotel, and that fireplace in the bar area was huge!!
So glad - thank you so much for watching! The village is right across from the station so no time at all! The village is quite compact so probably 5-10 minutes to walk through it to the lake area around which the hotels are located. Everything is super close! We loved our stay in the Sequoia Lodge!!!
From the train station, getting off would be about 10-20 mins because of getting out and luggage. (The station is actually next to the village)
Walking would be about 10 mins but would seem it be 5 maybe less minutes because of the lovely scenery and chats that you fall into. Getting into your room from there would be an extra 5-10 mins because of signing in and actually travelling because they aren’t connected (obviously)
I had never really seen pictures of the Sequoia Lodge before watching, it is beautiful! DLP is definitely on our travel bucket list (after watching Imagineering on it, how could it not be?) and this gave me wanderlust!
It's THE most beautiful park for sure!!! I hope you get to visit, it's very unique and special in its own way :)

OMG! I had the same problem with opening the door at Sequioa Lodge! I really enjoyed staying there! Nice to see that the deck is open again. It was under refurb 6 months ago. Thank you for taking us along!
Kerrick Sasaki hahaha I’m glad it wasn’t just me! It seems like common sense with hindsight - I was obviously lacking in it that day 😂 Isn’t the deck lovely?? Wish we’d had more time to sit out and enjoy it, would 100% stay here again!
I'm traveling to Disneyland Paris soon and staying on property so thank you for showing how to take the train and walk to the hotel. I will know what to look for now.

Great video guys :) The bit where she falls off the chair from relaxation is my favourite Sophie moment too, haha! I really miss Disneyland Paris, and the announcement music at the train station weirdly made me feel really emotional. The stuff in the Disney fashion shop is so lovely but a lot of it is sooo pricey! Can't wait to see what you get upto in the parks, hope you're having a lovely weekend xox

Totally agree re Disney Fashion. The good news is I wanted so much in there that I came out with absolutely nothing! Haha too much good stuff and you’re right, it all came with a pretty hefty price tag!

Ahhh this was so awesome to see! I’ve only traveled to the parks within the US but hope to get to DLP someday! It seems Sophie is the Paris version of Stacey in WDW :)

She certainly is! Though Sophie is even more “extra” if you can believe it. We’ve added so many of her quotes to our every day conversations haha!

It's not a Disneyland Paris trip until you see Sophie in that advert. Honestly I was having a Disney withdrawal moment, so I decided to play that advert on youtube, it gave me all the feels haha. See for getting the hot drink per person per day etc do you have to be in the Golden Forest club? I am staying at Sequoia Lodge but just standard room ( super excited!)
WorldOfKeira completely agree! I’ve watched the “top 10 things to know before you go” video an embarrassing number of times since we’ve been back in the States haha. I miss it!
And no, we stayed in a standard room too and were introduced to the hot drink offering upon check in. It was a nice bonus to get coffee in our rooms while we were getting ready for the day! ☺️

Hahaha glad it wasn't just me! It was by tapping the door handle with the card per my sister's suggestion! Will try and remember for next time! x
Was it easy getting the train from the airport to Disney? We’ve always gotten a taxi, just wandering if it’s quicker getting the train and if it’s any cheaper? We pay Between €80-€90 for a taxi return for two people. Hope you had an amazing time. We just got back and it was the best trip ever. Loved pirates and princess season 🙂
Jessie Jane yes! Without delays it’s 10 minutes on the train from CDG and about 20/25 Euros pp I believe :) Super easy and quick which was ideal for us arriving late in the day. I should point out we Uber’d back to the airport when we left as the trains were less frequent. Something to keep in mind.
There's a McDonald's on property at WDW. Its in the Pop Century area
Oh of course, by the All Star Resorts! Feel like this would be the equivalent of having one in Disney Springs though. Can't imagine it!
There used to a McDonald’s in Disney Springs! They closed it about 9 years ago 😳
