This actually quite stunning , and very natural looking with a bit of whimsy...the flocked greenery adds a bit of natural highlights. So gorgeous. Will be trying this. So many thanks again, Ruth Thomson
Hi Julie. I'm going to be making a winter wreath this week for my neighbor and my husband's office door this week, and this one is just perfect for both. I, too, suffer from depression, and I agree that wreath-making or any form of art has pulled me out of some pretty bad bouts. Your videos and personality keep me from feeling really badly some days, so I want to say thank you from the bottom of my heart for just being you and teaching this amazing craft.
I worked retail in a dept store in mgt for years. I did my holiday baking marathon the first weekend in December. A marathon makes one mess one cleanup.I froze all my cookies. Also froze nut bread. FYI. When you turn the bread out of the pan wrap it in plastic wrap and then foil. Freeze it while still warm. It will be super moist. It was tradition in my family that you don't eat cookies until Christmas Eve. Can't promise you won't have some thievery, but by freezing they are out of sight out of mind. I keep them in the freezer and take out as needed. Hope you find this helpful. Happy Holidays to you and your family!!! LOL
Yes I have a wreath all the time and as far as I know the north they do to I’m from the north and I do a lot of wreaths making and learn a lot from you wreath makers
I loved the winter wreath you made I'm one that likes to put a wreath up for every holiday I just don't have one for the winter thank you for the informative video I think I'm going to give it a try and make one also some times when you move around it's hard. to hear you
I am so happy to find your videos! I love them. I can learn so much especially with the wreath decorating that I am trying to make for Christmas. I wish I could take classes with you. I too suffer from depression and making crafts or knitting helps me a lot. Thank you for the videos!
Yes you should!! Here in the south we always have a wreath on the door and change it out for either season or holiday. So example some hang a St Patrick’s day wreath, but that’s not my personal style so I move into hanging a spring wreath.
My customer wants fairy lights added to the wreath, should I add the lights first and then start adding the greenery? I love this hobby but now it's turning into a small business, thank you for sharing your tips and techniques. Thank you
Hi Julie, I am so glad I found your channel. You are so talented and generous with your expertise 😊The wreath is beautiful! Could you please lmk what you used to spray paint the wreath to give that winter effect. thanks so much!
I wish we had such great places to order supplies in Canada. Very hard to find something here. Something that costs $10 a roll in the states, cost twice as much here. And if we can’t find it in Canada, to order online from the States, with exchange and duties, and import fees, I would have to sell the wreaths for $200!!
No not really and if it does, just glue back. So this will last approx 4 years of winter seasons which is Jan and maybe Feb. The sun fades everything with time and they get a little tired looking.
@@southerncharmwreaths thanks for answering my question. I love your channel. I'm trying to find all the videos that you've made so I can watch them all. Do you have different play list that I watch?
I hate glitter and try to not bring it in my home! Sometimes some will sneak in and I get frustrated that the supplies had in on them! Very rarely will I intentionally choose something with glitter. I like natural looking decor so that may be the reason glitter isn’t my thing🥰.
I'm commenting as you go along building and adding. Yes the twigs or branches give a very natural and whimsical feel to the whole peice.
This actually quite stunning , and very natural looking with a bit of whimsy...the flocked greenery adds a bit of natural highlights. So gorgeous. Will be trying this. So many thanks again,

All year round , I am in the Midwest but originally from Washington DC
Red balls would be pretty in this wreath.
Yes for a Christmas look it would. I’m going for a winter vibe.
What's the best way to store your wreaths? Ty
A clear plastic bag, on a coat hanger, hung on a pole or nail in the attic, garage or inside a closet over the door.
Did you flock the wreath beforehand?
Hey I'm renae from alabama,,,

How many wreaths do u make a week?
When actively selling wreaths 5-8 per day.
Do you have trouble with the clue coming lose after a few years?
No not really and if it does, just glue back. So this will last approx 4 years of winter seasons which is Jan and maybe Feb. The sun fades everything with time and they get a little tired looking.
What would you charge for that finished?
It sold for $167
Couldn't you put the winter white owls in a winter wreath?
Yes

I’m in Ohio & have a wreath on my front door all year long. Most of my neighbors don’t, though.
