I found you after being obsessed with gossip girl in 2010, in my last year of high school and basically wanted to be Blair Waldorf. I searched on youtube for makeup tutorials and saw your video on her makeup and couldn't believe how much you looked like her. So I saved up and bought a whole bunch of products you used, including some weird liquid mac eyeshadow that was in a tube (that literally lasted forever) just so I could copy the makeup in your video. My sister and I have now being following your journey since then and I've seen you a few times in real life but have been WAY to nervous to come and say hi. I'm now 25 and my sister is 30 and we always say you are basically like a third sister because your humour is exactly like ours and it brought us closer as siblings. Loved this video, because I was going through the comments and you never really think how someone on a screen can make peoples lives better but its pretty obvious how many lives you've touched. Thanks for being the real OG.

This sounds silly but I like how sweet you're being with your past self, a lot of people are so embarrassed of what they used to film but you just have good memories of it - I don't usually like watching these types of videos because of the embarrassment and the shrieking but I loved this one :) even made me tear up a little
I think I found you through Shaaanxo, I wish I could remember properly, but her clubbing GRWM videos were one of the first make up ones I watched and yours must have come up in the recommended :)

I first found you through your Eid videos. I think it was the first Eid series you did, it was YEARS ago I don't even remember but it was definitely an Eid video. I remember because I cried watching it. I was so touched and happy to see someone not of our faith doing an Eid look. I felt so respected, so accepted, so loved. I noticed your videos because of an Eid tutorial you did a while back. I had never seen a non-Muslim UA-camr acknowledge Eid, let alone create an entire video dedicated to their holiday, and I was so intrigued and unbelievably grateful for someone so beautiful and open minded to create a look for us. Can I just say how emotional I got with you! I remember watching that video when you first started out on UA-cam. I wasn’t very knowledgeable about makeup and was in search of guidance. I remember watching that video and just feeling inspired. You made it seem so easy! I remember watching and re-watching! Another favorite that I vividly recall was the tutorial with the urban decay palette. Again, I knew nothing about brands, but you totally influenced me in buying the palette (my first ever non-drugstore makeup!), and O-M-G! What a game changer! I felt so confident in mimicking that look and going out in the town wanting to show off that makeup look that I just learned from you!
This was extremely heartwarming. You seem so humble and to look back on your old videos and really reflect is so nice to watch. Congrats on everything you’ve done and what’s to come !

Before ASMR was even a thing, I used to watch your GRWMs to fall asleep because I loved how you’d describe everything in such detail with your soft voice and lovely Australian accent, LOL. You were the first UA-camr that I actually followed, and I just want to thank you so much for your videos over the years - I went from being a makeup loving teenager to an actual makeup artist myself, with a 3 year old who is now also obsessed with your videos! You have got me out of a really dark time. I remember laying in bed watching your videos over and over again whilst being in hospital for depression, anxiety and ptsd. You were literally the life raft that kept be afloat during many sad and lonely days.

I remember VIVIDLY when I found your channel! 2012 I was in a car accident that left me with a shattered pelvis 2 broken legs and a shattered tail bone. I was in a wheelchair with nothing to do but do my hair😂 I spent HOURS looking up new hairstyles and I found a tutorial of yours it was like a poofy french braid. and then I thought you were so cool so I stuck around! 😍😊

I miss it when Beauty UA-camrs would just sit in their room with no set up, backdrop, ring lighting set ups without their 70 thousand dollar custom jewelry and watches on. It felt more real, honest, personal, and not some QVC infomercial on products they're trying to convince us to buy. Where are those days when people were relate'able and down to earth and did this as a hobby, not a job/salesperson/influencer.

I found your videos when i was 16, it was in 2011. That was also the time of me discovering youtube. At that time I was in New Zealand for a year...I was living at a host family and went to Rangitoto College.
Its been a while(!!!!!!!) and its crazy how we've both grown up so much when I see this video and think back to me sitting in my little room in a random country, missing family and friends and just looking for something to make me feel good :) (I had an amazing time there, don't get me wrong haha)

I found you around 2012 I think and if I remember correctly I searched for the benefit tint (the cheek and lip one) because I had gotten a sample and didn’t know how to use it. I remember the video SO WELL, you were getting ready to go to a game with your boyfriend at the time, you had super long hair and I thought you looked so much like Leighton Meester. Have been a subscriber ever since and you’ve always been one of my faves. Chloe, I have been following you for three years, maybe even more. There was a time where I wasn't leaving the house, stayed in my room, was really depressed and I would just watch and re watch your videos and even though I didn't want to see my friends I didn't feel alone because I had my youtube pal Chloe. I saw you the first time I think on Lauren Curtis channel, you were four girls who did your makeup together and I remember that I wanted to have that kind of friendship with other people to do just that. I thought that you were funny and I just felt a kind of connection to what I wanted to see and I felt that you were the one to provide inspiration for me to do makeup and not be embarrassed or uncomfortable. Chloe, I got pretty emotional watching this video. I remember the first video I saw of yours was your 2011 victorias secret makeup. I was 14 and I really wanted to dive into the world of makeup and learn how to make myself feel cute for parties other than foundation lips and spider lashes (I was over it). You were actually my very first beauty guru I ever subscribed too. I thought to myself how gorgeous and down to earth you were (plus a fellow aussie). I distinctly remember showing my bestie whilst we skipped PE your video of the natural makeup tutorial that you planned to wear to see your ex's rents/grandparents. But girl, you've been my ride or die. I have always loved how you don't take yourself too seriously. You deserve nothing but happiness and I'm so proud to have watched you for the past 7 years.

I found you back in 2010 when I graduated high school and started wearing make up for the first time. You were the first beauty UA-camr I ever followed and I absorbed all your tricks, tips, products and tools recommended!
In 2015/2016 I developed severe cystic acne and tried EVERYTHING to cure it. I followed your videos on acne and bought Benzac straight after watching! I ended having to go on Roaccutane, but you helped me gain my confidence back and love of makeup when I was feeling my most insecure.
You'll always have a special place in my heart as my first ;) and one of the OG Australian beauty UA-camrs.

I found your videos as I was trying to learn how to do makeup and I didn't have any brushes and your videos immediately caught my eye as you look so glowy and natural!! Your first video that I ever watched was called "Get Ready with Me TAG" and you were getting ready for your boyfriend's college party and you had this ICONIC green banded bodycon dress and it was so absolutely gorgeous. It's from 2012 and you were very relatable compared to the American gurus I had been exposed to at that age (mostly juicystar and her sister allthatglitters, who were really wealthy). I kept watching your videos for years and developed a passion for makeup and careful makep technique. I still have soooo long to go but nothing is a better reminder to keep practicing than this video! Chloe youre a really big motivator in my life, and I love and cherish your authenticity and optimism!

I found you when I was in a pretty dark place in my life one of my friends suggested that I watched you as your personality really could pick a mood up, it was a prom make up video when it was coming up to my formal and I felt I couldn’t go because I couldn’t afford a make up artist at the time you encouraged in your videos that you didn’t need to have all the money or skill in the world to make yourself feel beautiful. Looking back at how much I’ve grown since then I think it’s amazing to see the growth of you too - your set up your confidence! I used to basically not speak to anyone for like a few months coz I was just sat in my room going through every video on your channel! I used to love when you uploaded and got soooo excited!! Oh my gosh. I was back in high school, and I remember my friends and I would watch your early videos (including the belly dancing!), and were so excited as we were starting to get into makeup too, and you were one of the first Australians to really come up. We would scour the Priceline discount bins for bits and bobs to follow along with tutorials. It's so crazy to think how long ago that was. I'm now in my twenties and married, living in another country, but my friends and I still occasionally chat about your videos.
I used to watch your videos here and there but one of your Halloween tutorials really stood out. It was a vampire tutorial and you created fake cheekbones and it was so cool I was just like woah I didn’t even realise you could do that with makeup!! And I remember trying to recreate it for ages and it wouldn’t turn out the same looool. I’ve been watching you ever since and sometimes when I watch old videos I’m like I remember this but woah it’s so different to your videos now, but I don’t actually remember there being a sudden change it’s just we’ve developed with you and my makeup game is sooo much better than what it was when I first started watching you, so thank you too xxxx

I was younger when I saw this video!! I didn't know any makeup techniques and is showed my sister this video and I begged her to do this makeup and hair look on me! she finally did it I even have photos hahaha, i was in love with the baby doll look and kept practicing.

The first video i’ve ever watched of yours was a simple valentine’s day look and I was so taken by your beauty and skills. I remember going and buying the naked palette and rewatching that video several times trying to replicate the makeup look on myself. I even started to wear my hair in a high pony bc that’s what you had in the video haha. I remember trying to recreate that look so many times and I would wear it all the time! I also vividly remember watching your “get ready with me” with Lauren Curtis, shaaanxo, and karissa and it totally fell in love with your personality!

I honestly remember the first ChloeMorello video I ever watched clear as day. It was just a 'get ready with me' before a lunch with your friends. I think you were trying out the Dior air flash foundation maybe for the first time, and i'm pretty sure you got it all in your hair. I distinctly remember you telling us that it was the first time you weren't going to tease your roots because some subscribers had told you it looks better that way 😂😂 I was just hooked on your ensnaring personality! I have since stopped watching KP and LC but continue to watch you and SH and love you both more and more with every video!!! Oh my lord, time just slapped me in the face ahahah! This was just so sweet, I remember discovering you with a tutorial explaining how to do a kind of orange or peach cut crease, way back in the days, like 5 or 6 years ago when I was in my teenage years.. first time I intended a winged liner aswell and oh lord it did not go as planned!!

I first discovered you probably in 2014-2015 and I was looking up tutorials using Jane Iredale because it was the very first nice brand of makeup that I owned and I had gotten it from my dermatologist. I found a video of you and I immediately clicked on it because I thought WOWWW she’s gorgeous. You were doing a Greek inspired tutorial and had a gold braided hair piece (I think lol). It was your video that make me fall in love with makeup and you were of course my absolute favorite. I have learned HEAPS of tips and tricks from you since then and I just can’t thank you enough for constantly being such an amazing and positive person and such a wonderful influence on my life. I look up to you and all you have accomplished at such a young age. And this video is so different from all the other people who have done these videos. I’m smiling watching you watch yourself because you aren’t bashing yourself, or saying how terrible your set up used to be, or saying you can’t believe you did this or that, you look genuinely happy to see how far you’ve come and I can tell that you are not at all embarrassed of where you started from, and that’s why you’re my favorite. You are so different from any other beauty influencer because you are so confident and REAL. I just love you so much❤️😭

I just remember you were so classy and I was really inspired by how you did makeup because you don’t do the conventional like Instagram makeup, it’s more technique focused.
