I agree, I think he's the best teacher. You still need to work a lot at technique, but I find he doesn't skip the details and doesn't move too fast like a lot of others.
Thanks Grant - that’s my son’s name 🤙 Song sheets, tabs, and practice exercises on my site if you’re interested. All the best - Kevin | www.AllForUke.com
Thank you very much for your patience ! I appreciate your way of teaching for you move very slowly and we assimilate your lesson perfectly ! Best regards !!! Serge Uppiah !!!
@@filipabranco4759 hi dear, I found out why. The G string on a ukulele usually is a high G but you can also have a low G. There's a video on his channel about it if you're interested (just look up ukulele low g). The low G gives more guitar vibes I think. But the sweet conclusion for me is, you can still play the same songs, it just sounds different next to him because of this 🥰🙏🏼
You have a beautiful voice and a great way of teaching. Thank you. I have signed up on your website to get the song sheets about 4 times but never get a code back to access. Please help.
This is a really cool tutorial. Thank you. Do you usually use low G string for other songs as well? I just watched your "remember me" tutorial and you use low G as well. I'm thinking of getting one, but changing the G string for every song is not very practical haha.
My g (string not chord) sounds a lot higher pitched than yours. I’m using my tuner and it says it’s tuned properly... am I doing something wrong? I have a concert uke.
Yaya -- So I'm using a Low G string on my ukulele which is the same note, but an octave lower than yours. You're not doing anything wrong at all. It's just going to sound a bit different. How are you doing with the song? ~KP
AllForUke understood. It sounds significantly lower than my g. Could that be because I’m using a concert uke? I’m not getting very far with this song. Lol. I got the beginning down but the rest is a little advanced for me, me thinks. I’ve only been practicing for 3 weeks. Lol. But I have the spookiest song in the world down! 👻. Yay for spooky things!
Hey Yaya - so lowering the string an octave won't work because it will be too loose. You can get string sets through any of the string makers that are called Low G sets. I'd say tune that G back up to it's original place lol.
I would enjoy learning this song on the baritone.

Yours is the best tutorial I've found for this song. I've almost nailed it and it's sounding beautiful.

Amazingly taught... super helpful tutorial.. thank you😊
Ok I just feel fingers hitting other strings.
And also echo when plucking. When mastered with practice this would be such lovely tones.

Hello! Thanks for the great lesson. The sheet chords for this song don't show up when I open the link.
I love this
On my uke, my cords are G, C, E and A...when you play, you G don’t sound like mine 🤔, why ?
@@sylvietherien8621 cuz he has a low g ukulele and you probably have a high g, its probably too late now tho sorry

I like the Low G and find it to be very useful for a lot of songs. I’d give it a try and you can always switch back if you don’t like it.

Done and done. Lol.
