This song was penned by Morris Stancil over 40 years ago, and sung for many years by the Primitive Quartet, and in the last decade by the Triumphant Quartet. Morris Stancil for several years travelled with his own family quartet, and many may remember another of his popular gospel songs, “Beautiful Home” recorded live by the Kingsmen Quartet on side 1 of their live “double” album in 1981, (complete with Sam Crowe on a hard driving banjo introducing the second verse). I am so glad to see this song given new life by the “young” Inspirations, and rightfully so-WHAT a GREAT MESSAGE!!!
