As a mixed Frenchman it's good to remember my country's rich and glorious mixed history! Hat's up lads! 👍Dumas story would make a good scenario for Hollywood 🤣
Amazing life story. Never knew his son wrote 'the Count of Monte Cristo', many movies have been made from this book. Love both of your authentic reactions, don't change.
We won't don't you worry! it is so interesting makes you want to re-look at the count of Monte Cristo
When you think of “the man in the iron mask” or “the three musketeers” you realize it was Dumas actual life. His son wrote those stories to honor him.
"The Count of Monte Cristo" too.
Omg that's sick!
The classic tubby grunt lol
It's apart of the channel at this point
Here’s some quotes about Dumas I found in an article…
…was the only four-star general of an all-white army before Colin Powell….
Dumas also apparently had near-super-human strength.
To amuse his friends, he would sometimes put four fingers into the barrels of four muskets and then raise them perpendicularly to his shoulders. As a young child, he was also said to have lifted himself and his horse off the ground by grabbing an overhead beam of a barn.
Dumas was so superb on the offensive, and his enemies so feared him that they even began calling him "The Black Devil."
It was this strength that helped Dumas that day on the bridge at Klausen.
"I lay there astounded," Dumas' aide-de-camp, Paul Ferdinand Stanislas Dermoncourt, who had been wounded next to him, later recounted. "The General had killed seven or eight men, and wounded double that number."
This generals who met and spoke with Dumas about Napoleon’s folly in invading Egypt were Marmont, Lannes and Murat yet Dumas was the one who suffered from it.
Ya boys need to check out their Harald Hardrada saga. Collapse of the Plains Indians video might be worth checking out too
We will look into it!
There is a series by Wizards and warrior about an alternate version of the Mongol invasion of Europe. Y'all may like it.
