She is the unbelievable!! not only super talent and with an amazing voice, but on top of that, she always says the nicest thing about my country, Argentina
I love how she kept the Nightwish segment positive and brief, and then steered the conversation to her solo career. For that, she is the most humble metal singer on this planet, and more humble than those in other genres.
Great interview again...by Arto. Tarja is awesome as always .... but still I wish one thing - pls. make peace with NW guys...clearly...only you know those reasons back then. And a new duet with Marco ; )
Floor is fantastic, but I still think the biggest mistake that band ever made was parting ways with her. The music has never really been the same since. And while there are some good tracks since, the music doesn't grab me, and drag me in like Once did, and everything that came before it. Maybe it's just me, and I can't relate as well to it anymore, but I used to love every, single track from Once, and before. Now, I'm lucky if I like more than 1, or 2 from any, given album.
Tarja, the Julie Andrews of Metal! To be honest, Nightwish is lost without Tarja. I'm not a big fan of Tarja's touring band."What lies beneath" was a solid record. I believe Joe Satriani played on a couple songs. I would like to see Tarja form a better band.
@@MetalPersonJ I agree. Imagine she does a album with Michael Schenker. Her band looks and plays like hired hands. Her guitarist is grundgy sounding. The rest of her band look like geeks, on stage. The drummer with the mowhawk haircut was a good drummer. The one bluray Act one she released. Her best songs she did, was at the piano, by herself. Her band butchers "still of the night" The guitarist doesn't know how to play it, correctly.
What she ought to do is systematically hire every former Nightwish member in her good graces, and then wait for Toumas to quit the music industry. And then from there, make the next NW album without his involvement.
Great interview, as always🤗 Tarja is so funny and same time so graceful lady. It was a pre-recorded interview aired online with the possibility to chat during it, right? May be you can try a real interactive interviews? Including the "fan-minute" with direct questions from viewers?
Good suggestion but it is very hard in these to do them on air as you would have to tell fans to expect certain time and with musicians it rarely happens on time. 😔
06:37 If a non.English speaker didn't get it, the first songs she wrote lyrics was for the song "Kuin Henkäys Ikuisuutta," (although the interviewer omits the word "kuin").
TArja did not write the lyrics to this song. The lyrics were written by Sinikka Svärd from Turku, Finland. When Tarja first got to see the song, music and lyrics, she asked if she could make some changes to the lyrics to make it more personal..........and the writer Sinikka agreed to that. THe text is by Sinikka Svärd and TArja should not be taking credit for it. Credit to the person that credit is dueto.
Maybe she is humble but she is taking credit for something she did not do in saying she wrote the lyrics to Kuin Henkäys Ikuisuutta when she did not write the lyrics. She wanted some changes to the lyrics to make it more personal but the lyrics were written by Sinikka Svärd from Turku, Finland. S.Svärd has written lyrics to many of Finland's musical Stars.
How do you know that? She is listed among the writers of this song. Plus the interviever did not say 'kuin', so he was talking about the album and not the first song.
@@MegaSkocdopole I know this because the lyrics were written by Sinikka Svärd, a close friend of mine, Who lives In Turku, Finland. Sinikka has written lyrics To many songs sung by finnish singers.
Wow, I love her soul, she’s very humble. I love her music and her voice

No, the band needs to make peace with her. Tarja did nothing wrong.
Very articulate. Yeah that pleasurable pain in producing an album. I can well do without that freaky pain of being on the road though

She needs to think like Ozzy or Dio. Just get a good guitarist, bassist and drummer to write some solid classic metal songs.

She actually explains that in the interview. She literally says they gave her an almost ready song and she made changes here and there.
