Believe it or not, any glass on that car will swap to any 2002-2007 Impreza. Base, Outback Sport, 2.5RS, WRX, WRX STI. Obviously back windshield differing for wagons.
You probably already know. Just figured I'd chime in. Subaru always tries to minimize creating extra part numbers when they don't need to.
The car is sick bois. Missed this video the first time around. I'm honestly hoping the engine holds up a lot longer than you expect it to!
@@vPerformance Oh not the Outback, when I said Outback Sport I mean the Impreza Outback Sport. Not sure you ever got that model there though. It's literally just a slightly lifted wagon with a two tone paint scheme! Sometimes came with nifty diff guard skid plates too.
Alright, after watching so many cool rwd subarus I decided to get one next year and do the conversion. This seems like so much fun :D What are they like to drift?
They're a handful. Lots of power which makes it easier, but steering is pretty unforgiving. Rumour has it the engine will explode too - but so far we haven't killed this one.
@@vPerformance But overall does it feel like a proper RWD car after the conversion? Can't wait untill you guys get some more lock. After watching so many videos of RWD subarus sliding I'm gonna get one next year, they look and sound so cool. But first need to finish my e36 "practise car" and actually pass my driving tests lol
@@vPerformance woahhhh u replied bro i’m 14 and working hard to get a wrx as a project car, ur channel is such a big inspiration and i love u guys
4m31 - says what all the viewers are thinking! Good to see you putting so much time and effort into a drift car. The first time it delaminates a tyre you'll wonder why :-( keep at it. There was a Scooby at Teesside last bank hol but it was a £££ build, BMW V8 turbo etc.
I think that's Mark brown's one. He went off the deep end of his wallet yeah! I'm trying to be more rational with ours lol
Ohhhh, you should cut the whole lot up and give it the S12 look?
We've just modified the front suspension and hubs to make it wider with more lock. We might have to do the front bumper and wings
wet sand and a polish will get that orange peel away
That's what I was hoping. I've got some 3000 unigrit here and a day off work coming up!
@@vPerformance if not just wall tap it easiest way to remove the orange peel 👌
that 2 door kit looks fantastic
Thanks Nathan. It wasn't too difficult to fit, but it required a shit load of cutting. Some bravery needed for sure!
