We bumped into Jack at the Jodhpur airport. Can confirm he's a super nice dude! We asked for a picture which happily agreed to and even chatted with us for a good 10 minutes once he discovered we were musicians! Turns out we were on the same flight as Nick's family and some special guests from Delhi.
It also feels hilariously out of character for Jack, who has this whole “sweetie” persona. At another point in the episode they make a bit of Jack saying villainous things and how wrong it sounds, and here he is suggesting murder unprompted!
Btw, I think Jack said the wedding was in Jodhpur, Conan and Sona had visited Jaipur. They are different cities! Both are in the western state of Rajasthan though and are famous for majestic hill fortresses and Rajput architecture. My favorite is the Mehrangarh fort in Jodhpur, it looms over the city. Anyone who hasn't been to these cities and visiting India, they are a must see.
Jack: "This is the WORST day of my life!!!" Conan: [uproarious laughter] For me, that's the very essence of what makes these two together such a treat! 🤣🤣🤣
It's so funny to hear Western people so fascinated by Indian weddings and the humongous number of rites and rituals involved, the multiple day feasts and just unmanageable number of guests, often in the thousands. Because all of these are the exact reason why someone like me (a socially awkward introvert) dreads weddings and would like nothing more than a simple Western wedding where you exchange vows, kiss the bride/groom and have like 30-40 guests. As they say the grass is always greener on the other side.😅
Same. I stopped going to weddings the minute I hit puberty. Before that, weddings used to be fun. Its like a weird thing where most of my friends are all introverts and yet people just expect them to have these big weddings not knowing social anxiety is a thing of this generation. I for one certainly hoped that the covid restrictions for wedding continue indefinitely. Max 50 guests. And even then its too much people. Grass being greener, a western wedding does seem more elegant than an indian wedding.
I’m Mexican and our weddings are always lively and loud and I feel the EXACT same way. For my own wedding, I’ll probably have a quiet, 30-minute ceremony.
Yeah absolutely my social anxiety has saved or prevented me from going to many of my close friends' weddings. It's terrifying. At this rate i might not even show up for my own wedding
Some good friends of mine are Indian here is Los Angeles and other than being a week long and costume changes (maybe it was for my friends?) everything else Jack said was true! Colorful, musical, friendly, festive, and … magical! It was a blast!
BEST EPISODE EVER OF THE BEST PODCAST EVER! I have never laughed so much listening to a podcast. There are always laughs to be had with Conan, Sona, and Matt but this episode was something else. Jack McBryer is so kinda low key funny but his impact is just gigantic. Love'im. "Oh, sir" 🤣🤣🤣
I love how Conan is struggling so hard to keep it together. He can't let Jack finish his story because he can't help being serious for one second around Jack. It's gotta go straight into hillbilly jokes
I think you missed the bit. The whole bit is Conan giving Jack a hard time. Him rushing him is part of that. It's not that he's tired of being serious. He's specifically not being serious by giving Jack a hard time, and Jack knows that and plays into it. They're just so good at it that it comes off as serious lol
Jack's right, Indian weddings are awesome. The one I went to was just one day but it was the most fun wedding I've ever been to. If you get invited to a catholic wedding, SKIP IT! Nothing more long and boring exists under the sun 😆
Literally everyone called them clothes except for Conan. Costumes! 😳🙄 Not a circus Mr. Conan 😵💫 Despite that, love you and your humor! Glad to be entertained by you for so long 🤗
Someone please invite Sona to an Indian wedding she is so fascinated hearing the wedding details 😍🥰💖 i am already married sona but you are welcome to attend my children's wedding in future 😬
I never thought of myself as a sadist or the kinda person who usually laughs at other people's misery or discomfort but I absolutely adore watching Conan frustrate and bully Jack McBrayer. He is such an adorable man and he brings out such a hilariously dickish side to Conan.
I love how everyone is constantly rooting for Conan whenever he's surfing the edge of not giving into his apparent handicap / default mode of undermining other people:)
I never watched 30 Rock and only saw him on a few bits on Conan’s and Leno’s shows years ago. Watching this podcast on UA-cam it’s nice to know that Blanche Devereaux raised a wonderful young man.
Listening Priyanka's name from Conan's mouth is like hearing my own name 😂😂😂😂its such an honour...m so happy Hollywood gets to know about India through Priyanka
Conan can’t help himself . He tries but like he said Jack is just one of those people he can’t have a real conversation with 😂 Surprised Jack is friends with the Jonas Brothers and got an invite to the wedding but also not. He’s so kind and genuine which is why so many celebrities invite him as they are used to such a lack.
@@someone1 they werent because priyanka just maintains proffesional relationship with them so didnt invite them her wedding. But they had a reception here in India where bollywood stars were invited. And the PM of India: Narendra Modi.
Karan Johar a pro nepotistic power player in Baaliwood tried with his full might to get Priyanka Chopra blackballed. Priyanka Chopra decided enough is enough and chose to focus on her career in Hollywood. Since all the Baaliwood actors are Karan Johar's chamchas Priyanka would never call them to her actual wedding. Parineeti Chopra who is more intelligent and talented than Alia is often mistreated by Johar because of the same.
People telling what to wear in their wedding only happens in celebrity weddings... In Indian wedding people whatever that want based on the wedding event... Also it's not a costume for us it's our traditional clothes which we wear regularly in religious functions, festivals, weddings and other celebrations.
They probably guided their guests, who were not Indian, so that they knew what kind of outfits to wear for which occasion. You, being an Indian, would definitely know the difference between outfits for a haldi ceremony and an outfit to be worn for the main marriage ceremony or the outfit for the mehendi ceremony.
It’s great when Jack gives up on Conan and just starts telling the story to Sona and Matt
"I'm a thousand years older than any of these children ..." .. he's immortal
Sona asking Conan to leave his own podcast was * chef's kiss *

We asked for a picture which happily agreed to and even chatted with us for a good 10 minutes once he discovered we were musicians! I love how it flew under the radar when they suggested to cut the microphone, Jack said cut his vocal cords . Definitely has a quick wit.
It also feels hilariously out of character for Jack, who has this whole “sweetie” persona. At another point in the episode they make a bit of Jack saying villainous things and how wrong it sounds, and here he is suggesting murder unprompted!
Jack McBrayer seems like such a likable person
"Can you leave the room?" Lmao
Sona and Matt stopping Conan going full ham on Jack the whole episode was hilarious.
But I wish Conan had the chance haha
If anything they're gonna invite him to more stuff. He's so nice and sincere. Who wouldn't smile at such a lovely explanation of their wedding?
Yes, thank you!!
Conan and Jack McBrayer is always a brilliant combination!!! 😂❤️
Cringe af 😅
i remember seeing the one with him at the chicago hot dog stand when it aired. I laughed so freaaking hard
Conan and Jack are defo real mates. The banter...
yup they go waaaaay back.
I’m beginning to see why Conan needs a friend. 😝
The 3 of them almost kicked conan out of his own podcast 🤣
I’ve never been to an Indian weeding (I’m a Mexican Catholic) however I love how beautiful the brides look with those amazing beautiful dresses ❤🙌🏻
Btw, I think Jack said the wedding was in Jodhpur, Conan and Sona had visited Jaipur. They are different cities! Its 2 hour drive..so not that far
They all realized these are different cities in the podcast, right about that same time as well. They cut that part here.
Nerd
Hello fellow Conan fan from India!
@@cityonfoot6023 yeah. I wonder why. The confusion was funny 😅
5:46 "Cut his vocal cords" lol
"Eat ma slop" Jack's comedic timing 😂😂😂😂😂
I love everyone ripping into Conan for constantly interrupting Jack
Jack: "This is the WORST day of my life!!!"
Conan: [uproarious laughter]
For me, that's the very essence of what makes these two together such a treat! 🤣🤣🤣
exactly what i was thibking 😂

Those weddings do seem extremely overwhelming for someone introverted.
I’m Mexican and our weddings are always lively and loud and I feel the EXACT same way. For my own wedding, I’ll probably have a quiet, 30-minute ceremony.
I think the common thread for all weddings is that they're only truly fun if you're a guest with no ceremonial responsibilities.
Yeah absolutely my social anxiety has saved or prevented me from going to many of my close friends' weddings. It's terrifying. At this rate i might not even show up for my own wedding
Jack McBrayer is a national treasure :) 😃😍😃
They’re not costumes, Conan! They’re outfits. Wedding outfits!
Some good friends of mine are Indian here is Los Angeles and other than being a week long and costume changes (maybe it was for my friends?) everything else Jack said was true! Colorful, musical, friendly, festive, and … magical! It was a blast!
Well sometimes people don't have the money or time. And all indian weddings aren't alike, depends on regions how they conduct it.
Yeah north indian weddings are a week long, weddings in the south are 3 days at most. Awesome food either way so always worth it
This is one of those episodes where I’m so happy to be able to watch it because Jack’s faces are the best
"Can you leave the room?" lol
A 5 min video turned into 8 because of Conan crying 🤣
Jack and Conan's chemistry is comedy gold! Lol
A crossover I DID NOT expect - way to go Jack!
Jack McBrayer seems like a delightful human being!

The catholic ceremony? Yes. But if it’s catholic, the married couple could be Mexican, and that’s a good party, my friend.
It depends on which catholics. The indian catholics have insane parties in their weddings too 😂
This was a very interesting story and I will not forgive Conan for rushing it lol Jack was in the pocket
Is Jack Brayer on a podcast regularly? I wish he had a Coco show! Or was on this one more often!
Jack McBrayer is hilarious. He's a natural just being himself.
Literally everyone called them clothes except for Conan. Costumes! 😳🙄 Not a circus Mr. Conan 😵💫
Despite that, love you and your humor! Glad to be entertained by you for so long 🤗
"costume" is not necessarily derogatory
I immediately knew Conan would be jealous when Jack said he was invited to the wedding! 😅
This podcast episode was so great. It ended way too early. I wanted it to keep going
Conan always has some bit with most of his guests. He and Jack go back, and he always has a bit for him.
it’s a great story. This is the one where you want to hear all the details of the lead up.
literally clicking refresh waiting for more clips from this episode to drop
I watched this to see the moment that jack told conan to shut up xD It wasn't in this clip, but jack is so sweet and sassy so it was worth it anyway
Easily top 3 best episodes of the podcast! Jack and Conan has hilarious chemistry!
"This is the worst day of my life" needs to be a tiktok sound 🤣🤣
I love Conan AND I could listen to them all telling him to shut up for hours. Laughing so hard.
The dynamic was fun. Jack saw awesome. I can see why Conan needs a friend.
The way he describe Indian wedding...❤❤
Someone please invite Sona to an Indian wedding she is so fascinated hearing the wedding details 😍🥰💖 i am already married sona but you are welcome to attend my children's wedding in future 😬
Jack might be the kindest human on the face of the earth.

Damn Conan you couldn’t keep your mouth shut. Love the way Jack stayed calm and collected throughout the interview
I never watched 30 Rock and only saw him on a few bits on Conan’s and Leno’s shows years ago. Watching this podcast on UA-cam it’s nice to know that Blanche Devereaux raised a wonderful young man.
Does he have his own podcast? I just love hearing him talk away.
Listening Priyanka's name from Conan's mouth is like hearing my own name 😂😂😂😂its such an honour...m so happy Hollywood gets to know about India through Priyanka
😂😂😂😂 the whole exchange is juuuuust hilarius 😂😂😂
Jack McBrayer is one of the best humans ever. I'd watch hours of this.
Conan: tell me the story and start from the beginning :)
Also Conan: pls just get to the point
😂
Conan - how was it
Jack - it was like nothing I've experienced before
Conan - that's helpful and informative.
3:55 Conan chimes in ONLY because Jack has been talking for 1-2 minutes and Conan can't not be the center of attention for that long. 🤣
The idea that if you go to an Indian wedding and expect it to be like priyankas is crazy.
Love the shout out to "They Came Together". Excellent movie.
I could hear about Jack 's magical life for hours.
ha I wanted more
"They Came Together" is a hidden gem, a savage and funny takedown of romantic comedy cliches. Rudd and Poehler are great as the oblivious leads.
“I literally was.”😂😂😂😂
"im just SAYIN it like it is." !!!!!!
Conan, you've been to Jaipur. This is *Jodhpur*
The atmosphere in this episode is so great. Conan has the backing of no one for chop busting because Jack is the sweetness man in the whole world.
I love Andy and all....but Conan and Jack are comedy gold. Lol
Conan has something for Jacks, he befriends them all.
"Can you leave the room?" 😂
"Can you leave the room?"
🤣🤣🤣🤣
Jack questioning Conan's weird pronunciation of "untoward" and Conan not even realizing 💀
Jodhpur and Jaipur are different cuties. Though close by and quite similar vibe.
I love this podcast, and Jack is my favorite guest so far along with Jeff Goldblum and Mila Kunis.
Conan can’t help himself . He tries but like he said Jack is just one of those people he can’t have a real conversation with 😂
Surprised Jack is friends with the Jonas Brothers and got an invite to the wedding but also not. He’s so kind and genuine which is why so many celebrities invite him as they are used to such a lack.
The best part of his invite is that most of Bollywood wasn't even invited. And Bollywood stars KNOW. EACH. OTHER.
Why weren't they?
@@someone1 they werent because priyanka just maintains proffesional relationship with them so didnt invite them her wedding. But they had a reception here in India where bollywood stars were invited. And the PM of India: Narendra Modi.

😂😂😂”we’re sorry about him”😂😂😂
Conan you are a maniac. Really. when you ask a question you need to listen as well.
Jodhpur * is the place where the wedding was jaipur is different place in tge same state
Who wouldn’t invite him to their wedding? Come on! 😂
I LOVE THAT MOVIE!!!! 😃 'They Came Together' is such a random collection of comedy and chaos! I've seen it 5 times...so far.
Conan has that bully look as he's listening. Like he wants to steal his lunch money look. Jack is a great storyteller.
Being in India, this is the most wholesome thing i have seen in a week
"I'm SORRY, I'm sayin it like it IS!" And that's a fact, Jack! 👍
I listen to the podcast episodes, then watch clips of the recordings here. Somehow, I think I've added more Conan into my life after the show ended.
I loved Glen Powell as Chad on Scream Queens, he’s so underrated.
What a sweet man.
They Came Together is seriously one of the funniest movies I've ever seen.

Traditional clothes not costumes, it’s not Halloween.
Is there a full video podcast?
Damn! Conan really needed to chilll haha
What a slayyy!!
I wish Sona had her own podcast so much
Jack is such a sweetheart! Conan leave him alone 😔 🙁 😞
He says JODHPUR and conan thinks its JAIPUR LOL
LOL The only times I didn't laugh were in between these clips!!! SOO funnyyyy!!!! 😂😂😂
There are very few instances where Conan's schtick gets old these days, but him ribbing on Jack for like half the podcast really did fast
Conan asked him if he mistook india for Indiana ? 😂😂😂
