Probably never, and for good reason. Spotify pays artists pennies. But you can support Wayne by buying the cd at www.waynebergeron.com/shop/you-call-this-a-living
I was reading this comment and thinking "wow, what a great reply" and then I realized it was me from two years ago 😂. Make sure to love yourself today guys.❤
I'd totally listen to this while sipping a fine glass of champagne and looking out from my penthouse over all of the city lights in an elegant evening gown
When the trumpet player is the boss the trumpet is always too loud in the mix. At 4:10 the whole brass section comes in and wipes out everything else. Exciting... well done... but the mix on the next album, needs more restraint.
Bruce T the piece seemed to be written for trumpet seeing as its mainly a flugel/trumpet solo almost the whole piece with the accompaniment of saxophone yes they seemed loud but the first trumpet is the melody which should be played with great confidence plus its dynamics are written in the piece its made to be loud but its nice to have your opinion
Wayne is, has and always will be one of my many heroes... what a musician! Sincerely, John F. Phillips.

It's good, of course. But check out Clifford Brown's version. Same key, different world.

I love a powerful trumpet section. It shows the authority of the trumpet.
I guarantee you that if you heard this live the trumpets would dominate even more.
Maybe you're right, check out how loud Annie Ross is when she sings the trumpet stabs!
