Played cod on a 4090 and scuf for the first time. Setting doesn’t fucking matter. The difference is night and day. I play on a 10/10 sens on a console but after dropping to a 6/6 on a PC let me tell u, the frames are insane and you move like your on a 10/10 console but way smoother and snappier on a 6/6 Like, it’s not even fair. Dropped 30, 35, 39 lowest kill was 23 on a 4090 and my PR was 21 on console. I’m so blown away. There’s zero contest. If you wonder how you die so quick when up against some peeps online, just assume they have the superior set up when on console. You have to try to lose a gun fight. Went back on console and was struggling hard, the movement and frames wasn’t even close on my PS5. And AIM ASSIST is a 1000% stronger on PC, it’s basically aimbot. Crossplay should not be a thing to be honest - it’s a whole different experience. Anyone who says otherwise is lying. Some can’t drop 4G on a PC just for COD.

I fckn knew it. Like my movement, aim and gunplay is actually good. I'm not a bot bro. It's like I die so fast in gunfights I KNOW I shoulda won. All I could gather was, it felt like a "latency" issue. It feels like I'm dying in 3 bullets, like MP, or like I have no plates on when I'm fully plated. Idc either, as soon as my wife has our baby next month (so I won't look like an a$$hole, bc: priorities) I'm at least dropping $1500 on one, idk about 4G'z, but at least $1900 or so.
Thank you so much for this bro. 💯💯💯💯💯💯💯😎💪🏻

Thanks for covering the hand/thumb placement! I’ve only found one other video covering this in the past after lots of searching. For warming hands, I recently started placing a heating pad on top my hands for the first game or two, makes a lot of difference!

I respect the dedication but I just feel like having to warm my hands up is kinda a wild routine lol. I’ve hit diamond/crimson on mw2 and mw3 already and I do not do any of that. Just good old fashioned bot practice up to 1000 bots and then centering and finding the right settings. That’s it.

    • @samuels3557

@@profgodslayer4991it isn’t a wild routine. Some people’s hands are much stiffer when not warmed up coz how they’ve used their muscles. And if u play mnk u really see the difference in consistency stretching out and warming up ur hands up to ur shoulders

You know what's funny? I started playing shooters as a pc gamer playing CS 1.6 and I instinctively knew that using my finger tips on the mouse would allow me more control over micro-adjustments in my aim. I've been playing console shooters for the past 14 years and never thought to use the tip of my thumb (thumb pads) instead of the flat of my thumb for aiming on a controller. I switched that today after watching this video and it has allowed me so much more control over the small adjustments, that I am floored 😮. This one technique feels like it raised my skill ceiling quite a bit almost immediately. Wow. Thank you for this video.

Left or right was the content i was after. I find flicking to the right is a lot more sensitive due to the pulling motion and it gets stressful. Another issue is the servers. Somedays they are good and others its like running through quick sand, there isn’t any consistency and that doesn’t help.

great video bro, i have something to add to it though. one thing everyone should pay attention to is where you are actually aiming, not when in a fight but when u are moving in general. you need to make sure you are not aiming at the ground while walking. i used to tend to look at the ground alot while moving. idk why, i guess it just felt natural to look kinda downward like to see where i was going. make sure you keep your crosshair around chest level at all times. because a chest shot deals alot more damage than a leg or foot shot. you can get the drop on a guy and hit him a few times first but he will kill you anyway because you weren't aiming high enough and he was.

dreamstrike I have the same doubts as you, I also do a lot of aiming tests, I often feel good for 2-3 games then I stare or lose concentration, I have come to the conclusion that the PS4 pad that all the pros use has the voltage of the analogue ones softer than the PS5 pad or the Xbox pad and allows it to be fast even at low sensitivities 6-6, if you play at sensitivity 7-7 8-8 after a while you lose precision when playing, while with 6- 6 helps keep recoil and centering well centered. it's a positioning game and 6-6 helps play more tactically than higher sensitivities

I know this is an old video but I’m curious to how much pressure one should be using on the right stick for aiming? Sometimes I feel like im not putting enough pressure on the stick and it’s causing me to lose gunfights and sometimes I feel like I’m putting too much pressure and it’s causing my aim to be stiff. What way should I be practicing the most with?

And playing claw is nothing for me exept when i need to press the dpad.
I noticed you use the exact same button mapping as i do and i also switched from 1st using the 4 buttons to the right side of your controller but switched to using ping on the back instead of the switch weapons on the back.
In other words thx for the vids because you seem to focus on the same stuff as i do.

Honestly whats gotta be one of the biggest advantages is having a scuf controller so you can jump while still using the joystick. I switched from PC and thats the one thing I really cant do anywhere near the level I was on PC. Moving around and jumping around corners and shit. And being able to flick your mouse to turn fast even if youre using a low sensitivity. With a mouse I used really low sensitivity like literally about a foot movement to do a 180 while still having that low sens advantage for accuracy. On controller I play on 11 out of 14 so I can look quickly but its definitely harder to aim

I found that control freeks worked brilliantly for me on PS4 but with the PS5 I can’t seem to perform well with them. Perhaps it’s the bigger controller, and so it feels higher by default. But yeah, many things are subjective. ATM, I’m using modded stock DualSense (just 4 back buttons, calm down) and it’s worked great, but recently the right thumbstick has started to drift just like my first DualSense (who would’ve thought). My next controller will hopefully be the DualSense Edge once and for all, but I want it to go on sale. Then I can just swap thumbsticks when they degrade. I’ve had my PS5 for a year and couple months, 2 controllers down.

Playing with aim assist off and getting good at it, will take care of the rest of the tips mentioned. I been telling people to practice that for years, and been watching streamers telling people to not do that. They don't want people to get better. JUST PLAY WITH AIM ASSIST OFF AND GRIND IT OUT PEOPLE, when you turn it back you are better. When my aim is off it's in-between aim assist is to much, or my centering was off for a particular gun fight. I don't die easy 1 verse 1. I play aggressive too. Make a dummies account to turn aim assist off and play super aggressive, then start slowing down just a bit to get the other kill or two you needed. This is 100% guaranteed to work.

Playing without aim assist is definitely a cheat code. Like I said you really start to develop a lot more control in your thumb when you do it!

@tripsWZ Use the firing range to practice first. You can feel your aim slow down when you hover your crosshairs/reticle over the enemy. Aim down sights at the dummies in firing range then without aiming in and out as you aim to the next dummies, you will feel your aim pull in between them. Adjust your aim accordingly for your play style. You shouldn't have to adjust to much becasue aim assist is strong in COD. After you do that is when you practice with aim assist off. You will then just have to practice your centering and movement, that is where you will fine tune the small adjustments in your aim. Don't forget you need to find the deadzone minimum for your left thumbstick, most people play between .50-.80. The goal is to make sure you are not fighting against aim assists, and being able to snap on targets and make small adjustments in game.

@tripsWZ I play on Xbox series X and just got the GameSir G7 SE controller. I over clocked it to 1000hz on xbox. I never played with an over clocked controller before. You can only get so good om console before your skill is limited due to the equipment. It's a night and day difference with a smooth over clocked controller. You can build your skill but equipment matters for things like fps games. This is why I crank my music up and just have fun.

This may sounds dumb as hell, because it kinda is. But playing Fortnite festival with a controller really helps warming up your hands making them feel faster and more responsive instead of that stiff feeling you might have at the start of playing. Just give it a shot. It really works, especially for me

lmao i also use a hair dryer to warm my hands up. When I play I get super nervous and when iam nervous my hands get super cold and it negatively impacts my performance in game. So i need to constantly heat them back up.
Another trick that i use for a problem that I have is... (well for those that use M&K ) while moving my mouse around there is traction on the surface with my forearm. And it really heavily impacts your performance in games. Especially, if you are wearing short sleeves its basically unplayable, and if you are wearing long sleaves sometimes the sleeve goes out of position when moving the mouse vertically.... so MY SOLUTION that i proudly invented is.........: Take a sock that is long. Then cut holes in "closed" part of the sock for fingers... and you wear it.... and your forearm will slide on the surface like skates on ice. Just remember to wash it regularly because you sweat will build up and make it nasty. I advise to wash it every day, or make a stockpile of "sock sleeves" for 7 days, and wear each day a fresh one and put them to laundry once per week all together, so you dont have to do laundry everyday. (expensive etc.)

It doesn't matter what settings I use, when I aim, my crosshair goes all over the place, it doesn't stay locked on the target like I see them in videos.

Does rotational aim assist work even when you move the left thumb stick up or down? Or does it only work when strafing? And does it work more if you push it all the way, or does it work equally well even if you just move it a small amount?

Tip #5 is something I just started doing last year that made a HUGE improvement. LOOK at the enemy when shooting. So many times I’d be looking at my crosshairs in relation to the target.
