Yarp, WileyCoyote captured the "additional" damage well on the model!
I always liked the joke from the Ex Astris Scientia website, asking if Kirk picked a few more fights on his way to space dock...😅

@@MSR-1701 interestingly enough, if you look at the graphic of the damage Spock is pointing to on the bridge in WOK, it matches the battle damage in ST III. I think there was more to the battle that was simply cut for budgetary reasons, but I love to bring this up and no one ever seems to notice. The myth is that the Reliant was circling the Enterprise, continually firing. I’d love to see original footage but I’m sure it’s gone. I’m sure Kirk ran into a Romulan Warbird on his way back to Earth. 😆 Just explain it away. 😂

Also, agreed that the damage on the schematic is closer to the damage in STIII. Not sure on lost footage, though there is promo art that sees the Enterprise n Reliant in shots never on film (look up the old posters/VHS covers, they have some of said shots)
