What a wonderful rendition of this piece. One of the ways I personally practice is to play along with her to capture her phrasing. So wonderfully done.
Listened to this over and over like 30 times in the past couple of days while jumping inbetween Pepe Romero masterclasses. I'm happy to say this is my first classical guitar piece and your rendition of the piece really inspired me and helped bring more life to my own rendition of it.
I could talk about the execution of this piece, I could talk about its technique, but the emotion it manages to convey is something that amazes me and makes me want to learn more and more... thank you!
@@Insidia85 Good question. I have no good answer. IDK. Life. Life got busy and my energy decreased. It's not an easy instrument. But I am back now with more enthusiasm than ever. I have some arthritis in my left thumb which can be an issue. I am finding partial solutions. Also, just purchased another classical guitar for use outside. So now I have my main axe, my outdoor backup axe, and my cheap starter guitar as the pure sacrificial axe. Another case has been ordered. I practice once a day, two or three times on weekends. Life is good An aside: I ordered the music for Leonard Cohen's Hallelujah. Monster of a song and not difficult to play. It's the journey that counts.
Being new to classical guitar this is the first piece I learned. I've struggled with the phrasing that is heard here at :20 - :23. The FIRST TIME I heard Tatyana play it I straightened it out. I love watching her play. Sometimes I play and employ her facial expressions and physical feel for a piece. It actually helps you play better! She is marvelous. What a touch!
This is really great to hear her play some things from the "student repertoire", to hear how they should sound, especially the tempo of the piece and her right hand with certain passages. Well done and thank you!
Without any doubt the most beautiful interpreteation of Lagrima I've heard! I've listened to 10-12 other professional guitar players, but this is just so beautifully played. Well done, Tatyana! And - thank you ;o)
Well.....wow....how wonderful was this! She coaxed some beautiful tones from the top strings and frets. The overall feel and pace was lovely too, and the overall sound deep, full and warm.
A performance at highest level , and your guitar sings in a very very special and unique way . Both composer and guitar builder should be very proud of you
Ms. Ryzhkova here shows again her flawless techniques and well schooled interpretation of the Romantic period - late as in the case of F. Tarrega. I've been playing this piece, as well as almost all of Tarrega's compositions for the guitar, for many years and often revisit phrases and cadences in an attempt to capture the original spirit of 'tear-making' by the composer. This Preludio is a relatively simple composition and is not very difficult but it demands a great deal of emotion from the player. Ms. Ryzhkova has succeeded with phrasing of the second section (B section of the ABA form), about 1:05 to 1:09, into the music. If that phrase depending from the D doesn't bring tears to one's eyes, nothing will! Well done, indeed.
Dear Tatyana, your music is happiness, comfort, profession and beauty together! I really enjoy your fine sound with very typical Tatyana-moments in it, for example soft-loud and so on! You give light to the human world. I wish you a happy life and once I hope to hear you on stage in the Netherlands. Nicolaas Scharn, Almere. Holland.♪♫
Siempre tan dulce, gracias Tatyana por deleitarnos con tu exquisito sonido, Saludos desde Argentina, ojala puedas venir a nuestro país, acá también amamos la guitarra
This song is in the book The Magic Strings of Frankie Presto. A super awesome book. I finally got to hear the song it says in the book that it means teardrop. Absolutely adore you and your music. Thank you.
My favourite version so far. The tone, colour, the resonance, the rubato.very interesting and beautiful. Deceptively simple piece, yet difficult to get it right musically.
Wonderful interpretation and dynamics. Best version I have ever heard. This piece usually gets played at too fast a tempo losing its beauty. Gonna start playing this again and steal some interpretive ideas! Well done!😁
Таня !!! ... Спасибо тебе за прекрасное исполнение ! Смотрю и слушаю каждый день ! ... и вдохновившись с удовольствием нахожу новое, когда сам играю эту пьесу (-:
The book "The Magic Strings of Frankie Presto" by Mitch Albom brought me here. I'm glad it did because all the music that the book introduced to me is stunning!
The first I heard of this piece or Tarrega was while reading the book: " The Magic Strings of Frankie Presto" by Mitch Albom. It's a great book that most everyone who comments on Tatyana's videos would enjoy. I have found several versions but I like Tatyana's phrasing the best. I was really excited to see this her perform this...just exquisite!!
You just brought really good memories to my mind with this video Tatyana!, i remember playing this piece along with bourree in E minor by Bach on a recital back in 2002 when i was 12yro, BEAUTIFUL execution and thank you for the memories!!
omg this video make me feel so good. Some days I just don't wanna to study my guitar, but is just watch this video to inspire me and everything change. Thank u, Tatyana!
Wow, after listening to your interpretation of Lagrima I have a new perspective on this piece.. beautifully played with much so emotion, heart and soul.. Thank You !
Sitting here trying to polish my performance of this piece and came across your rendition. While I clearly have a long way to go on my playing you have provided some much needed inspiration in how I will play with the dynamics and musicality of this piece. Translate that all to many more hours of practice. Beautiful rendition. Thanks.
Ufff insuperable. Gracias por interpretar tan bellamente la música en tu guitarra. Espero que la música sea tan generosa contigo, como el sentimiento que tú le dedicas. Un placer escucharte.
Why this piece of music reminds of my kindergarten? 3-4 years, my mum used to pick me up quite late. All the other kids have gone home, and I was the only one left. And the next morning bathing in the sun, the same sun as the one between the player’s fingers. I have seen military planes over our playground, just for that once.
I think music is also a type of sorcery forge with melody, harmony, patience and heart thus creating a wonderful sound. And not to forget Francisco Tarrega😃
Beautifully played, Your interpretation of this piece has influenced my own playing of Lagrima, I'm nearly there just timing and some polishing to do ,thanks
What a wonderful rendition of this piece. One of the ways I personally practice is to play along with her to capture her phrasing. So wonderfully done.
So beautiful. I'm touched.
👍🙏👏👏👏🔔
Tárrega has a unique way expressing the sad romantism of his time!
Wonderful performance by the way.
I love your phrasing, subtle changes in timing. Reminds me of Segovia, but a more lyrical, (may I say feminine?) quality. Very beautiful indeed.
I subscribe every single word!
I agree. The subtle changes in timing give the composition a more powerful expression of emotion.
Ur an old creep I tell ya
I was just thinking the same thing. The way she plays it has a certain feminine elegance to it.
@@thebendu8931 haha spot on lmao

I put down the classical guitar nearly ten years ago. Picked it up again a few months ago. Gonna have to relearn this one. You inspired me. Thanks.
Can I ask you the reason why you choose to abandon guitar?

@@johnhoffer6265 bravo! This is the right spirit!
This is without any doubt the most beautiful rendition I have heard of this delightful piece of music. Bravo, Tatyana!
This lady gives this piece the time it needs to breathe! Oh that rhymes... great art!
She’s playing on her own way it’s beautiful
thats so true
So well put
You’re absolutely right. I’ve often heard it a bit too fast for me
Yeah
I was playing this song five minutes before you posted on your facebook page. So good to hear you, so sensible. Thanks!
Terrega is my favorite musician. His melodies are beautiful yet eerie, gentle yet dissonant ... love his style, especially Study in A, so fun to play
Wow, such expression and sensitivity. Flawless!

Anyone can play this song, but no one can play it with this much feeling. Thank you so much! Very beautiful
I wish it was this easy to say that anyone can play it, but even playing it without feeling takes a lot of skill.
This is really great to hear her play some things from the "student repertoire", to hear how they should sound, especially the tempo of the piece and her right hand with certain passages. Well done and thank you!
A difficult piece that you made appear so easy. So beautifully played and such a joy to listen to. Thank you.
My first Tarrega piece! So beautifully performed!
my favorite Tarrega piece, a teardrop extended in time, lovely
Sooo beautiful!..and the interpretation of this wonderful gift from Tarrega is wonderful too!
Thx for helping me learn this song on the guitar because I need someone to listen to to make sure I’m playing correctly.

I just started playing guitar and watched many videos. It seems to me this is perfection. THNX.
I could watch you play your guitar for hours and never get tired of your face or the beautiful music you are making!
That's a sexist comment
