Relax, they're NOT a hardware company. They're working on getting their product out to you guys in the unsupported countries. Stfu and just wait. You will get your chance eventually to buy a steam deck.

Been seriously debating getting one of these. I don’t have the room/money for a PC and I figured this would be a good way to still get the PC gaming experience!
Yeah that would probably be a great idea! It can run next gen games even plus it's portable. I think you'd have a great time with one without having to spend 2/3x the price on a full gaming PC setup!
Between buying/building a tower, plus getting a display, keyboard, mouse, plus a Windows license, there is zero chance you'd be able to get everything for a price that's even close to the steam deck. My $2500 gaming rig has been pretty neglected since I got mine. Love my deck!
You're not getting pc experience with steam deck. Still a decent way to play though.

i love the deck. i got the 512 version but i think the 64 version might be all you need, especially on a budget - just get a large sd card.
I've found the steam deck amazing for playing older titles in my steam library like arkham city and battlefront 2004

I've been absolutely loving my Steam Deck; got it late last year, and it's pretty much become my main gaming device now.
Plonk myself down on the sofa, put the TV on, and load up whatever I'm playing - love it.
The fact it can play recent PC games and emulate up to GameCube, PS2, and even some Wii U and Switch stuff is pretty bonkers.

I bought a pc gamer at the end of the year as a Christmas present and I don't regret it, in fact I leave the tip for you to research, it's the aya neo air and just like the steam deck it's excellent!! Thanks for the video as always Allison!
I love my Deck, it's so cosy. Emudeck is awesome for playing retro games too. Being able to launch my ps2 games from gaming mode and play them in bed is like a childhood dream come true lol.
Just ordered mine from scalper since they don't ship to my country.64gb +256 sd card and deck port for 600 bucks is not that bad

Are you psychic? I literally just ordered a Steam Deck last night and this showed up on my front page.
So excited to see another Steam Deck video from you! I'm very tempted to get one, but I know that I don't enjoy playing the Switch in handheld mode because I find the controls really cramped and it's uncomfortable to use the right stick especially. But the layout of the Steam Deck controls looks a lot more comfortable. Have you (or anyone else who's used both) noticed if it's more comfortable to use? I don't know many people who have one that I could try out, so I'm curious.
The Steam Deck's controller is definitely more comfortable than a Switch's. However, I have to admit that after a long session I find myself missing a dedicated external Xbox controller. I'd say the Steam Deck feels roughly like a PlayStation controller, with regard to how big/comfortable it feels.
Now, the good news is that you can literally plug an Xbox controller into your Steam Deck and use that. Not a likely option and decidedly goofy-looking, but I'm just pointing out that it is supported.
My hands go numb from holding the switch because of the way I have to support it's weight with either a tight grip or my pinky fingers. The deck has slopes that sit in the palm of my hans to hold it's weight (which of course is a lot more then the switch).
It's weird getting used to the dpad and face buttons being right next to the analog sticks but the motion your thumbs have to make is super comfortable. And the back buttons don't require a stretch at all. My only gripe is the bumpers require a bit of a grip adjustment for me press.
@@99Kap I use the back buttons to replace the stick clicks and the bumpers. It is a lot more friendly on my hands that way.
Switch and switch lite both make my hands cramp as well. Steamdeck doesn't. HOWEVER steamdeck is significantly heavier and if the game isn't 100% control compatible, then you'll sometimes need to touch the screen while holding it with one hand. I've been playing one game like that that isn't fully compatible (Northgard) and then it does weigh a lot. But say Lego Jurassic Park was me hours of playing while plugged in and still not feeling it!
Great asmr like always, Im mostly on consoles when I have time Series X and my PS5 and other older consoles. I wanna try again on keeping a handheld around and buy this one. I always try to convince myself to have and use handhelds but I either sell them or gove them away in months. This is a whole other level.

Please more Steam deck videos! Next video you could upgrade your steam deck with a larger SSD, an anti-glare screen protector, and maybe some other esthetic add ons. I think that would be relaxing 😌
