Absolutely the strongest LOL team in history.
I have been supporting SKT T1 since day 1. And i really love watching them and seeing them take the championship. But the most lovely thing to watch is the smiles on KOO Tigers after just losing the WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS. I think that takes a lot of sportsman ship.

i remember seeing so many comments saying that faker doesn't carry anymore and that he isn't as good as before. then this happens and i see nothing like those comments. the previous games didn't need faker to carry, but he can definitely carry.

true, especially since the beginning of the worlds, faker usually got focused by their opponent. But in Game 2 against KOO, Faker carried as Lulu when his team couldn't do it (Marin wasn't doing well etc).
Faker focus on team composition rather than killing thats why they are able to win s5 world championship. In s3 and s4 he use to be the maim carry and other members depend on him to carry . This result in the loss in s4 not even able to make it to worlds. Thus , faker is not declining but becoming more overwhemling thou

My only takeaway after looking back through all this is that MaRin shouldve stayed on SKT. I can understand Easyhoon having bitter feelings and having that feeling of wanting to be recognized (even though I thought he did great and played well when he needed to). To my understanding MaRin left under the same circumstances as Easyhoon, simply wanting to be recognized/prove something but I think SKT would be even stronger if they still kept him. His style of play complimented the team so well that it gave them so much leverage to try different strats and be a universal powerhouse. Its a shame he took the Korean retirement home route and went to China with a huge ego expecting to prove something when really LGD finished 8th place in LPL Spring and 10th Place in LPL Summer. :( Could only imagine what SKT would like now if he had stayed
They've got a carry top laner and a carry jungler now. SKT is actually very strong now. Hope it works out

It is a likely chance that ryze will be getting a SKT skin because he had some amazing plays with it. His zed play against ryu was viral among the league community so it was necessary to create a zed skin.

I don't understand though, Faker has played Ryze for 5 times or so throughout worlds and no one has thought "Oh! We better research ryze and learn how to counter him because idk, maybe Faker might play it in the finals?" But seriously, he played 5 games and won all of it, did they not think that it would be a threat?

Cause in the mid lane there aren't many counters to ryze, most of his major counter picks are top lane champs, when you put him in a lane with squishy easily burst able champs it's hard for any mid lane champ to do anything. Also there are so many champs that you have to ban in this meta and ryze really isn't one cause frankly faker is the only one who plays him at all.
Rain22 ofc they underestimated ryze damage. No one suspects any level 8 champion to be able to 100-0 someone that quickly. Also the 1v1 bot lane fight happened cause Kuro thought he could sustain the damage long enough to have his lulu tp in to kill ryze cause his rod was stacked so he probably though he had the health to do so. Just miscalculated in that bot lane fight.
+nomorecakes Well at the end of the day, it all comes down to preparation and how prepared koo were for his ryze, and they weren't. They underestimated his ryze because they simply didn't prepare enough for it. If they had used ryze themselves and had known the damage he could output then maybe a lot of the kills wouldn't have happened.

Marin is the best top laner. Smeb was using Fiora which is currently OP atm.
