"I don't deserve this, or What if something bad happens," then we are focusing on ourselves instead of a blessing God might be trying to work in our lives. Don't let fear, pride or control keep you from missing out on what God wants to do in your life. I felt God telling me don't place him in a box, he can work in ways that we can't even imagine. Years ago in my 1st wilderness when God was sanctifying my life and teaching me total dependence dependence on him he told me....
No self suffiency
No self reliance
No self preservation.
Seemed completely illogical at the time, I knew No other believer that lived this way and many told me I was wrong.
Over the last several yrs. God has provided all my needs in various ways with no effort on my part....just prayer and faith.
So Neat.
Not long ago, My Son and his 19 year old Son was staying with Me until they got moved to another house. One Night, the Lord woke Me up and said to go to the Bathroom. I didn’t want to because I was so comfortable. But I finally did. My Grandson was in the Bathroom and wouldn’t answer when I knocked. So My Son came, some how got the door unlocked, and My Grandson was laying on the Floor. He Over Dosed. I called 911 while My Son did Mouth to Mouth.
Bottom line, He lived and My Son and I told him that if the Lord didn’t tell Me to wake up, he would be Dead.
God talks to Us at All Times including in Our Sleep.

That's absolutely incredible!!!! Wow. The Lord never ceases to amaze me. The Lord shows us all time and time again how much he is there with us and watching over us and protecting us. Just amazing. Praise God that your grandson is still here and that God gave him another chance!!!!

My brother Wayne had been dealing with colorectal cancer for years. Like you, I was jolted out of a sound sleep. A voice that I haD never heard before or since said, "Wayne is healed".
He eventually succumbed. My error of interpretation of the dream was that Wayne's healing would take place on this side of the sun. Because, for sure and for certain, my dear brother is HEALED. 🤲
A voice said asleep: Jesus will come next year. Jesus did not come I still I live and rapture was not happen.
Please pray with me for the restoration of my marriage.

Corie, I have been having a battle about going back to church tomorrow after being out of church for a few years. I have been going to church since I was three days old, every time the church doors are open. But I was in a church where there was a lot of chiefs but not enough Indians. And hurt, disappointment settled in my heart. Please pray for me that God Will help me to have the strength to get back in church.... Thank You for obeying God....
U can make that move. I too have been away from gathering with other believers at church but I made that move and now slowly getting back into it. But remember that building is not the church, the people are the church.
Get back in church he will help you trust in the lord 🙏
Be sure to seek and ask God's direction where he would lead you to go. No church is perfect we know, but there are ones we need to stay out of, because of wolves in sheeps clothing and toxic dysfunction that isn't being repented of in some churches.

Oh my gosh. I had been praying for two years for my son who is 16 and has been struggling to come to know the Lord and I honestly almost like gave up..but then a week ago he comes home and tells me a boy on his baseball team was talking to him about Jesus and the boy led him in a prayer to accept Jesus into his heart. I was so thankful but then I almost wanted to start taking control. And I just realized I needed to back off give him the space to ask questions answer them the best I can and TRUST that God has a plan for him and HE will absolutely get him to where he's meant to be. He's gotten my son this far and he will continue to lead Jake. God really is so so good. Thank you for sharing.

Corie, thank you. My husband was in a horrific motorcycle accident on March 26th. We are going home from rehab next week. God has blessed us in so many ways during this time. Sometimes I get caught up in worries about all the things we have to go through in the following months. Sometimes I forget God is in control . He has blessed Us!

I'm so sorry for your pain. Know you're not alone with this as I have more than a few friends going through the same. I'll pray for you, and your sons as well. Never give up. You can always send a card saying simply you're thinking of them, and miss them. However we have to be prepared to receive no response. It absolutely hurts, but you're not giving up. I'm no expert but went through this with my daughter. I learned not to get angry or disappointed when she didn't return sentiment. Things are perfect now, and she told me that those cards meant so much. She saved them. Again, I'll put prayers up your sons will come around soon. Know you're cared for. 🙏 🙏 🙏 🙏 ✝️
This is very common these days. One of my daughters has faulty memories as well. I know the things she “remembers” are very far from accurate, but I finally realized it doesn’t really matter whether her memories are accurate or not, the feelings she remembers are what matters, and dealing with her feelings about the past and her childhood are what’s important. Apologizing for causing our children pain and not being the parent they felt they needed at the time is important, then they can decide to forgive or not. Sometimes a lot of time has to pass and life experience before they can see things more clearly and open up.
Have you tried offering an apology to them for whatever you did or did not do that could have driven a wedge into your relationship? A child’s memories may very well remain distorted because of their inability to comprehend a situation in adult terms. How your children feel about you as their mother is something no one should dismiss out of hand. “ I understand that you felt neglected, were indeed of something from me that I did not supply. Can you find a way to forgive me?” Fill in your own words that fit your circumstances.
I have tried to apologize! and understand their feelings but their Dad died and I am left with all the blame!

The very first comment on here was almost exactly what im going through. This really got to me. The church i was going to, is not the same as when i went to it, as a little kid. No one has called or come by to check on me, since my car messed up. I dont know, i guess i thought they should care more, but its true, we get in our own way.

ways that we could ever imagine or think! The Teacher lives in us....we live by faith, Not by sight! The western church at large has become an enterprise like corporations. Surrender is key....walk in it.

I think you’re right, Corie. My son often tells me that he needs to get out of his own way and trust God to work it out. I told him the other day that it’s really hard for us to just be still and let God. I have to tell myself to be still. God is in control and His plan is better than mine. I’m a person who is usually in control, I try to take hold of situations and control them. I do get very frustrated when something happens that I can’t control, I know God allows things to come my way so I can let my faith in him grow and I have a long way to go. Pray for my son and all the troops in the Middle East, I asked him yesterday if Iran attacked Israel would it affect him. He said that’s why he is there, they are there to stop missiles if they are shot. Now we see it’s happening. God bless

What a blessing. Thank you for obeying the Spirit. I needed this reminder! God is answering some long awaited prayers and I have found myself feeling guilty for asking in the first place, and like it was my responsibility to be the answer to that request. But I am confident in God's sovereignty and will be accepting to His blessings. He has been teaching me humility and that I need to depend on Him and not my own will and ability to fill needs of everyone. I find it hard to recognize my limitations and humility is how I am learning to do that. Again, thank you for your sweet obedience. You and your family are a joy to watch and listen to!!

Thank you for ur message. Yes, I am going through a lot right now. My husband & I are in our 60's & we have adopted our 11 year old grandson. We have had him since he was a year old & we have so many doubts & worries if we are doing the best for him. I feel guilty sometimes because I often wonder if we did the right thing? If I can be very honest, I sometimes regret adopting him. But, we were the only ones to take him. I shutter to think what would have happened to him. He has a 6 year old brother who has been in foster care for 3 years now. My daughter, their mother, signed over her rights to him & therefore we have no updates on him. I often think about him & were asked if we could take him, & we did not. I second guess that decision almost every day. But, I pray God is looking after Shawn & keeping him safe & loved. Hopefully, he is out of the system & been adopted in to a loving home? Sorry this is so lengthy, but I thank you for reading it & you reminded me of the phrase that says Let go & let God. Um, yeah. The confession sigh. I needed to hear this too. I, too am in a situation about something. The weirdest thing happened to me today. I have a 2 year old cat, I don't have kids. But I woke up and he was laying on me like a lion protects his family. I never saw him do this before. I immediately thought God was telling me it was going to be ok. Thank You for this beautiful message that I do believe God gave you.

SPOT ON here... I am a homesteader and reaching for my Bible am OFTEN reminded that full self-sufficiency without God is not what God wants for us and is in-turn atheistic. We rely on God FIRST...and let Him lead us in our efforts, work, blessings and "self sufficiency" while on earth. I started homesteading BECAUSE I felt God leading me into it, and what is now I believe an end-times plan for God's people to survive the upcoming beast system. We are to be spending this time collaborating with equally yoked believers for bartering systems etc... We are in a "window" right now...because God will not let his people's work go in vain. AMEN
