Hi there..why did you do a double mastectomy? I am asking because I am facing decisions around surgery and am confused as to what is best...hope you are well now

I am waiting to get in for my diagnostic mammogram after going for my first mammogram. How long did you have to wait? They are making me wait 7 weeks! I feel like that is a long time and I am scared…

FWIW I’ve had a few diagnostic mammograms and the odds are on your side. Percentage wise it’s more likely to be nothing serious, but they have to check to be sure. In my case I’ve always been able to get my diagnostic mammograms within a couple weeks, but I live in a large city with a tons of doctors and imaging centers

@@KB-ql8cx Thanks! I do wish I could get in sooner, but there isn’t anything I can do about it. So I’m just trying to be patient. ;)
