I drove Vento, but you can Go by any car. 70- 80 Average driving speed. The tunnel work is going on 85 away from manali. The manali Qumm is name of Airbnb and it’s in 1 km walking distance from Mall Road
Bro july se Monsoon - Heavy and torrential rainfall start ho jata hai. But weather bahut hi amazing hota h raining season me manali me. Agr sirf chill marne jaana h then u can plan. But explore krna difficult ho jata h. So plan accordingly

How comfortable is day taxi ride from Delhi to Manali with kids compared to night volvo ride ?
I would suggest do not plan Manali trip right now as road conditions are not good as of now and u may stuck in long traffic jam because of that

Roads are good, but keep the track of weather if it’s clear then only plan for it, landslides generally starts happing from the month August
