HeroTech I wanna know how the prejectile and the string connect
If you can get a motor to retract the string back into the shooter then I would happily buy two of them, it just seems like loading it the way you did seems like too much work tbh

Hi, I am a 13 year old wanna be designer. I have been studying the webshooter for a year now and have tried electromagnets, solenoids, pressurised Gas. This is an amazing idea and design. I will save up to buy :)

Am I able to add the lights and gears myself?
It will require quite a bit of soldering, sourcing the right LEDs and switch if you want to do the LEDs yourself. The gears should be relatively easier, you can find watch gears and superglue them onto the web shooter.

Thanks! Yeah the loading process was inspired by GreekGadgetGuru and others, just made it smaller :)
The loading is kinda like a gun u basically load bullets and remove the base or structure that was once holding the bullets and the ammo falls in the mag or in this case that canister

Great job! By the way if you use Kevlar string instead and make an exoskeleton and strengthen the sticky thing then you could probably ACTUALLY SWING AND HANG!!!!!!

and actually the amount of force of you swinging would apply to the kevlar string would be too much and would fall either way

it’s a cool toy but spider-man’s web shooters uses web fluid instead of a pre wrapped string. cool proof of concept tho.
And after this you can use super strong fibre wire and voilà! Swinging man
This is a good design should start making a company and make millions
Can you make a full build process, also try to get a retracting motor to get the string back. And see if you can make the whole string “sticky”.
Is there any progress on the shooter with a motor? Also making it be able to retract the strjng while holding a soda can would be cool
How does the web stick to diff because in your other vid it stuck to the wall
It's a very neat design and I've always been a big fan of Spiderman and always liked to watch people making web shooters but most where very big and bulky and never said how to make them but in yours it's nice and compact and you showed how to actually make the web shooter (in your video of you using it I thought there was no button to shoot the web and a comment on the video of someone saying it was faked but it's not you put a tiny string to shoot the web)
