It's worth noting that at the time, Nalle felt that there were too many downgrades happening at the upper end of climbing. Quite a few proposed 8C+ had already been downgraded to 8C and the same with 8C to 8B+. He didn't want that trend to continue with this new boulder. Ironicly, I believe that with his ascent of Burden of Dreams, his proposal of a new level of 9A actually reduced the pressure we've seen of wanting to downgrade and this is partly why we've seen many new 8C+s where the grade has stuck and why Livin Large in particular received an upgrade.

The attempts are impressive enough already, but the send looked dialled to absolute perfection. Shows how much learning and precision goes into a boulder like this. Absolute legend.
What an incredible ascent, I think this is the video out of the few videos that are of this boulder where you can really appreciate how hard and precise this line is.
quartzite, though technically both. Quartzite is just sandstone that has been under so much pressure that the grains fuse tightly together. It's got all the texture of sandstone but with a higher hardness.
Pro tip: if you want to climb a replica of this boulder, go to your local gym and remove all the holds from the wall.
