ALBUM. OF. THE. YEAR. It took EXO more than a year to comeback and the hype was REAL but they did not dissapoint, in fact they exceeded expectations. Honestly this album has overthrown EXODUS for me. It's THAT good.
Try to deny EXO is one of the only few boy groups that can pull literally any type of style and genere and they will kill it, Like EXO wont sell you the same up beat catchy beat that everybody uses to claim attention, they will literally do something completely out of the boundries and do a statement. Personally I think EXO is the best KPOP group out there cause they have shown not only one but so many times that they are naturally talented! I mean I will love to listen to other groups pull a full acapella break with a hardcore choreo in between and still sound better than the record! That's why I am EXO L and I am so proud of them, I dont stan them for their looks or because they are hella handsome, for sure are pluses, but I stan them because they show me how talented, passionate and hard working guys they are, and besides all the fame and succes they are humble and down to earth, and incredible nice guys, And with all of the hate, the fan wars and all the nonsense drama EXO is never scared of showing their capacities to the world. They are family and becasue they know each other so well they know how to work together, they know how to blend each of their talents and make art, because yes all 9 memeber are incredibly talented and they are legends, they have done so much for the KPOP industry and for the music in general and I love them I am so proud of them, I am so beyond proud of my 9 babies
I was explaining this to my husband yesterday! Whether they're your favorite group or not, you can't deny EXO's vocals are unmatched. EXO and Shinee are the only two that can switch genres like a boss! When I'm in the mood for K-R&B reminiscent of those American R&B groups I was rocking in the 90's (I'm 43), those two groups are my go-to groups. Still waiting for SM to give me a Station song with EXO and Boyz II Men.

EXO is the king of R&B and soul music.. It's only possible because they have an incredible high quality vocals.. Even Sehun is improving so much right now.. I'm so proud of them T__T Their core concept is still about superpower+the red force+exoplanet, but they did different album's story every comeback.. The storyline of their albums are just amazing and unbeatable......

It is true, Exodus album and DMUMT album are actually related in many ways, I saw a lot of reviews about this album and all of them pointed out that “end=beginning” is very meaningful, EXODUS is the end and DMUMT is the beginning, SM is smart for giving oasis to the leader=Suho and made this a closing song of their album

YES I said that to myself its eldorado pt.2! Alot of this album is like that to me like Gravity is lucky one pt.2, Tempo reminds me of Growl... They brought back the Iconic " E.X.O." on damage ( also damage reminds me Transformers) ,every song on the album is original but reminds me of a past song. Alot of call backs stylistically.

I totally agree with you. This album has no holes. You can listen to it all the way without skipping a single song. EXO's vocals keep improving as they mature. To me, the most obvious vocals improvement heard in this album (both quality and lines) are Suho and Kai. Suho's voice has been honed and polished like crazy this year. Kai is going to be EXO's next R&B king with his sweet soulful voice and beautiful falsetto. So proud of all the boys. EXO and the SM team made an Album of the Year.

Don’t forget to listen to sweet lies, thunder, and been through. Those songs aren’t in the album but they’re one of their best rnb and “soul” songs so pls check them out (especially sweet lies, it made my friend who hates rnb love it) I wanna see sum first listens on these songs plsss
EXO's music is a pleasure to the ears. They're albums are masterpieces. I like their songs at first listen. To me that's very special because I'm usually very picky with music. That's why they're kings 💓🔥
Well i guess the statement stays the same only EXO themselves can overcome EXO. Every album is a damn masterpiece (even Exact< after 2 years it grown on me XD). You literally cant find any bad songs from them. This is just unreal, they keep going higher in quality of the albums and never fail to impress everyone. Straight up to the legend tier of kpop groups.

Usually for every album, like Samara Gooch said, there is always 1-2 songs I that don’t really care about but with this album, there isn’t a song I would skip over. As for BTS, they released some great albums this year too. But I found that I only liked half the songs in each of their albums. BTS might be selling more albums than EXO but that doesn’t mean they are better. However, like I explained earlier it’s a matter of ones personal preference. DMUMT is by far the best album of the year for ME.

I like this album, gives me good vide, quality music really, I'm not saying this because I like EXO but they are always great. I'm happy because Chanyeol participated in writing the lyrics together with other important people of course, also Sehun got a lot of lines and I can her him singing which is great. My fav songs from this album are: Sign, Oasis, Tempo, Gravity, all of them are beautiful but these 4 makes me feel somehow.
Oh and Chen participated in creating the background vocals for Gravity, 24/7, and Smile On My Face. His name is credited in the album. I'm impressed. 😍

Can I just say: I was already amazed during my first listen to the album, DMUMT. I've been listening to 24/7 (no pun intended), Tempo, Smile on My Face, and Ooh La La La on repeat but after watching your reaction to each individual song, I realize now how much I equally love all of the songs. Like you said, not a single song is one worth skipping and I found myself grooving along throughout the whole video. It would be amazing if you could do the same for another one of EXO's albums as a whole (either THE WAR, EX'ACT, or EXODUS) and see your reaction to them because I think you'll enjoy them and I'm sure you'll provide new insight which in turn might make me love the songs a hundred times more. Exo are awesome at RnB and jazz. They dabble in pop and Hip Hop, very seldom, but it fits them. It just sucks on our generation today, because for them the most popular group, have the biggest views on their mv's, introduce outside Asia, is the best group now. But for us exo-l's the best group for as are the ones who has a real skills and talents like exo. They inspired as on many ways. They even told us not to be obsessed with them cause it may wreck the time and relationship we have for our families, friends, and studies. They care for us just like we do for them. Exo is so kind, sweet, I mean they are everything, yet they continue to be humble and grateful. We know the real exo, and exo know the real exo-l's.

I totally agree with you. This album has no holes. You can listen to it all the way without skipping a single song. EXO's vocals keep improving as they mature. To me, the most obvious vocals improvement heard in this album (both quality and lines) are Suho and Kai. Suho's voice has been honed and polished like crazy this year. Kai is going to be EXO's next R&B king with his sweet soulful voice and beautiful falsetto. So proud of all the boys. EXO and the SM team made an Album of the Year.

Well i guess the statement stays the same only EXO themselves can overcome EXO. Every album is a damn masterpiece (even Exact< after 2 years it grown on me XD). You literally cant find any bad songs from them. This is just unreal, they keep going higher in quality of the albums and never fail to impress everyone. Straight up to the legend tier of kpop groups.

RAHUL DHERE that’s based on a matter of opinion. For me I loved this album. I genuinely like every song. Usually for every album, like Samara Gooch said, there is always 1-2 songs I that don’t really care about but with this album, there isn’t a song I would skip over. As for BTS, they released some great albums this year too. But I found that I only liked half the songs in each of their albums. BTS might be selling more albums than EXO but that doesn’t mean they are better. However, like I explained earlier it’s a matter of ones personal preference. DMUMT is by far the best album of the year for ME.

I like this album, gives me good vide, quality music really, I'm not saying this because I like EXO but they are always great. I'm happy because Chanyeol participated in writing the lyrics together with other important people of course, also Sehun got a lot of lines and I can her him singing which is great. My fav songs from this album are: Sign, Oasis, Tempo, Gravity, all of them are beautiful but these 4 makes me feel somehow.
Oh and Chen participated in creating the background vocals for Gravity, 24/7, and Smile On My Face. His name is credited in the album. I'm impressed. 😍

I was already amazed during my first listen to the album, DMUMT. I've been listening to 24/7 (no pun intended), Tempo, Smile on My Face, and Ooh La La La on repeat but after watching your reaction to each individual song, I realize now how much I equally love all of the songs. Like you said, not a single song is one worth skipping and I found myself grooving along throughout the whole video. It would be amazing if you could do the same for another one of EXO's albums as a whole (either THE WAR, EX'ACT, or EXODUS) and see your reaction to them because I think you'll enjoy them and I'm sure you'll provide new insight which in turn might make me love the songs a hundred times more. Loved the video, your excitement is contagious!
Exo are awesome at RnB and jazz. They dabble in pop and Hip Hop, very seldom, but it fits them. I seriously love their different flavors of RnB that's missing in the U.S. nowadays

But for us exo-l's the best group for as are the ones who has a real skills and talents like exo. They inspired as on many ways. They even told us not to be obsessed with them cause it may wreck the time and relationship we have for our families, friends, and studies. They care for us just like we do for them.
