He definitely is welcomed in san diego I definitely would rather play for a team that wants me then a country that doesn't

Chucky is blacklisted by the Mexican team owners for critiquing the coaching, the team has been playing so bad in the last World Cup even the President of Mexico was ashamed of the performance and also criticized the owners. Coming to SDFC is not the end of his career but the next phase, not only will he’s on our team but also help with the right to dream. It’s easy to criticize any player that leaves Liga MX or MLS to Europe and come back, we say he failed or wasn’t good enough. Even though he’s been playing as a sub he’s been pretty good from what I see. Mexico team has brought back older players, example Ochoa, Chucky still can play and I think he has a large chip on his shoulder to prove he can. Just needs the chance to prove it.

He sucks man. He was barely playing at PSV

Honestly I just don't think Lozano was ever that good, he did ok at Napoli, but he was only ok when I watched Napoli, I really don't see what the Mexican fans see in him, i mean he's not a bum, but he's not a star either, he's just ok

He was excellent in his first spell at PSV - shining even above players like Depay (who I dont think is that good either but was in Barca and had been a starter fir Netherlands for a while). From there I agree he was ok at Napoli besides one pretty good season. And then just a steep fall off after an injury right after that season. He never reached what us fans thought he could.

@eddyjolo fair enough, I've just never seen anything overly impressive from him and I agree about Depay, though he did improve a little bit, but to me he'll always be that Dutch kid that flopped at Man Utd

He was a key player in his first years at psv but once he went to Napoli, he was just your average player. Average isn’t a bad thing but he just wasn’t that good after he left psv

That's not fair to say, this will be San Diego's first year of existence. Lozano will do fine, this is more than just a new scene for him it's knowing you are part of History opening up an inaugural season. That can do things to a guy, good things. I trust San Diego will be a force, instant LA rivalry gotta love it. Top tier players will want to come here, I'm hearing some juicy rumors, D'Brune? Don't know how to spell his name. I even heard Ronaldo's name being linked here (SD) not even a joke. So who's to say? San Diego is ready to shoot past many Clubs in year One. That says a lot, this is no money ball BS. This is a half assed take on him. Let's Goo SDFC!!🎉⚽🏟️🏆🕊️

If youre smart you want to play in Mls or liga MX to acclimate in gear for the World Cup all eyes are going to be in North America.

He definitely should be on the national team and start lots of games but not all the games , let's let his playing do the talking. There is a possibility that can become a really good player again, he was never a superstar , let's be honest

The league needs San Diego to dominate out the gate.

Because san diego teams are known for being cheap and about the owners money

LOL. Even Messi isn't done with Argentina despite being in MLS.

Different situation, Messi was still good, Barcelona was the only European club he would have considered, but they couldn't afford him, after that it was either Miami or back home to Rosario (Newell's Old Boys), him and his family used to spend time in Miami anyway during the offseason (he already bought a house before joining Inter Miami, his family loves being there) even at his advanced age, he's still got it, I think he'll play the next World Cup, there's no major pressure anymore, he can just have fun
