Yeah! I know the pre-orders tend to have better trade ins. How much 120hz, faster s-pen latency, 5G, and telephoto zoom is worth to people is definitely the key factor, I think.
Can't do it. Not till next year. I made a personal decision to buy phones after they're a year old. Plus, I love my Pixel 4 XL. Unlike the Google buds and other Google products that fail me my Pixel 4 XL is perfect. I have charges all over the place so the battery life doesn't matter to me. It does everything I needed to do and it doesn't smoothly. And the Google Assistant being baked into the OS is one of the most underrated features in any smartphone on the market.

It's a good phone! As long as it satisfies what you need, you can't go wrong with it.
@@ThisIsTechToday not just a good phone almost the same baeastly phone with the exception of a few minimal upgrades. plus the exynos variant almost is the same as note 10 plus in performance. Many say weaker battery despite being larger. Iffy adaptive refresh rate heavier longer and more. I upgrade to every note every year but this year im upset 😡
Why ? 5G is the future, I have the note 10 + but I will up grade for the ultra 20 I have the need for speed.
5G isn’t notable or relevant for at least another year or two.
My note 10+ 512gb is 5G. People seem to forget you can have 5g versions

I really think the way to purchase these phones is to just make a list of the things that you consider to be most important to you based upon your lifestyle and then make decisions based upon that. That's why I am not getting the note 20 plus because it's too big. The way my life works it's just too big and I'm probably going to drop it eventually and I don't want to hold that massive 6.9 in device in my hand because it will always be a two-handed situation. Also $1,300 is a mortgage payment for a lot of people and it's a rent payment for others In some cases it may be multiple rent payments. That is ridiculous. If I bought a note phone it would be the note 10 plus but I would probably get it off swappa. Even then, the phones are a little too big

Honestly, I enjoyed your side-by-side objective comparison. I considered going from my Note 10 Plus to the S21 Ultra but the weight, slimmer screen and lagging battery held me back. So the plan now is to wait for the release of the Note 21 Ultra/Plus and decide. It isn’t easy to move away from perfect.

Every year am pretty hype in upgrading until this year.. The note 10 plus is just a beast and for the average consumer like myself no big upgrades that I can tell the difference.. Phones are reaching their pinnacle i will wait for the note 21.. No need to to trade in my beast and pay around 700 dollars more for a few minor upgrades

Agreed. People act like these minor upgrades every year are revolutionary when in fact they really are not. Unless you are a professional photographer who needs the best looking photo every time you take a pic, this phone is not worth upgrading from the Note 10/Plus. Very minor changes to the casual every day user. For the most part people check their email, scroll the internet, login to fb and twitter and take a pic here and there and act like they need to spend 1400 bucks every year on the latest and greatest as if the phone they had previously cant get that job done properly lol its completely unnecessary. Sticking with my Note 10 plus as well. Hoping the Note 21 will bring no hole punch and smaller camera bump to the table. That'd be something to see that would spark my interest.

In my part of the world the storage slot is also the second sim slot and as I use both for business having the larger storage to start is great. I have the note10+ and won't be changing it. But I appreciated watching your review.

Note 10+ all day! I'd love to upgrade, but the cost isn't worth it. I also really do like 45w charging in a pinch.

I actually waited a year for the Note 10+ to be released. I've always had iPhones.
Still curious about the screens. They seem to get surface scratches very easily compared to my old iphones.
But that can be changed out for $125. My Note 10+ is going even stronger now with Android 11 & 1UI 3.1 update.
I can stream or watch downloaded vids all day long starting at 5:45a to 6p & I still have around 35% battery life left.
I've been extremely impressed with this Note 10+ & I still think it's the Sexiest Phone Samsung has released to date. My Note 10+ is Still kicking like new in July 2021!! No need to update yet, maybe a few more years
If my Note 20 ultra had a headphone jack and 5000 mAh 🔋 battery , 512 gb of internal storage and no punch hole on the screen. WQHD + and 120 refresh both at the same time. That would have made it the 👌 perfect phone .

I'll keep my Note 10+ for another year. After the latest major UI update on Note 10+, there are no major differences and for my opinion is not worth it at all to upgrade to Note 20 Ultra. 'Coz i don't care about 120hz refresh rate, better camera and better latency. To me Note 10+ is still a beast for my daily driver.

I'm currently using s7+ and wanting to upgrade to a note. I had been looking at getting the note10+ 5g 512gb. In Australia it retails at $1,999.00 but can find it for $1,499.00 on sale. With the note20 ultra with 512gb it retails for $2,199.00. $700.00 more expensive. This will be my first note and don't know which one to get. How much of a difference is there between them.I do want it for the camera but is the camera way better on note20 ultra to justify the extra $700.00.
Is there anyone out there who have both phones and can tell the difference.

Great review on the phones. Like you said, it comes down to price & preference. They're both great phones. Since the Note Series is likely to premier every 18 months to 2 years moving, I wouldn't upgrade unless you're heavy on digital & social media content production. Then the Note 20 Ultra is the option with the high price tag. The Note 10 Plus 5G is a solid option under $700.

What is your opinion about samsung's strategy of using copper vapor chamber in exynos variant and graphite chamber in snapdragon variant in Note 20 ultra? I think they used diffrent cooling system to

the Note 20 is a great phone. My only gripe as a Note fan is the Exynos SoC in the international version, the 128GB ROM base storage as opposed to the 256GB in the Note 10+, The battery too should've been 5000mAh like in the S20 ultra. But overall it's my dream Note

Most people I think generally get 24 month contracts when getting phones now (unless buying outright), in which case I think you should compare against the Note 9.
Keeping my note 9 at the mo.... Would like an ultra wide, but phones costing so much now, and note 9 still running fast and well, so no other reason to upgrade for me
In America, we have month to month contracts so they can go longer or shorter depending. I don't have the note 9 so I can't. Sorry about that!
Hey buddy, I may have missed it but what's the weight like on the 20? In the video I'm getting the impression it has some heft to it by the way you were maneuvering around. Are they both about the same in weight?
It's only a few grams heavier. About 5-6 more than the note 10 plus. It is hefty but it is more about how wide and tall it is.

I just got note 20 plus one thing that I do NOT like is the speaker placement. I had to learn to turn the phone to the Right so the speaker isn't covered by my right palm. Or the other way is to hold high up on the sides. This is only in portrait mode not upright. Other than that I love it.
Remove the 5G receiver and give me bigger storage, headphone jack and a case.🙄

Same here love my note 10 plus frfr! I just broke my screen yesterday and insurance said they don't have in-stock and wanted to give me upgrade with 20ultra. Or I have to wait 30 days..... after seeing this... I'll survive 30 days for my note10plus. 2022 will drop something better.
I bought Note 10 plus like a month ago. In my country currently Note UItra 20 cost usd500(converted) more than Note 10 plus. I can't afford to buy note 20 and bought a Note 10 plus is the best choice I made. It suite me very well to my suprise. The specs and performance are not that much different than note 20. There are so many features that I haven't explore yet. That made it much more interesting! and of course the design..it's the best in all Samsung ever design!

That's hard for me to tell with specificity because I don't have a 5G version of the Note 10. I know the S20 Ultra has mmwave.
I just tweaked my note 10 plus just the way I like it, I don't feel like upgrading doing it all over again. Plus there's no 45w charging that I love, S-pen on the right side,
i using note 10+ the only reason to upgrade to note 20 ultra is the camera zoom. anyway i try to wait for note 21. unless they decided to take away something e.g SD card slot (which they love to do like the S21 without SD Card slot) i will get note 20 ultra.

Watching your video on my White Note 20 Ultra. Great camera, screen and hardware. I am getting good battery live 6 to 7 Screen on time. Which is good but it could great if they had place the same battery size as the S20 ultra. I think the Extra 500 miliamps would have make the SOT so much better. Everything else I like about the phone. Before anyone says anything I am not a Samsung sheep. I like Android and IOS. As o matter of fact I carry the Note 20 ultra and the IPhone 11 Pro Max.
I have a iPhone 7 Plus which is super outdated and super slow. Should I get a Samsung Note 10 Plus or a Samsung 128gb Note 20 ultra ? Note that I have read some news online that Samsung is discontinuing the note line as well as it being super difficult to getting replacement phones or parts like a screen for the new note 20s which is making me think about saving money and going for the note 10 plus. I have bought every single Google pixel but it's time to trade in the 4XL for this
I was in the market again to upgrade from my Note 9 which has been my trusty phone and video camera for 2 years and has iris scanning which the later Notes do not. Even though Amazon went down as low as $1200 on the Note 20 Ultras 5G 512GB on Prime Day, it was still too high (add the 10% tax in California) considering the phone wasn't a revolutionary jump over the 10+. A bright side to being in the market undecided was that the Note 10+ dropped to $800 for a few hours on amazon. You can guess which one I ordered. I'll be happy to wait for the Note 21 or whichever iteration Samsung decides for 2021 for a Galaxy with an S pen.
There will be no note 21 has been confirmed that Samsung will discontinue the note considering that the S Pen will now be accessible to other model but just not have a holder for the pain

Yeah! That is independent of the device. It works because of how the app is setup 🙂
So the Jack is no more 😁.. but when they will get rid of sim card tray? The ESIM is great so the phone can be easily locate when stolen. And the phone manufacturer will achieve better waterproofing or resistant. They can make better solid phones no more sd cards bcoz it cant compete on ufs 3.1 soon to be 3.5 or ufs 4.0 indeed. Just the base storage is 256gb on flagship phones. 8k video files can full the storage if you use it.
Ill go for standard its already big phones thats tje maximum men. And it is flat screen. And no need for laser autofocus to make it 108mp. And not so hump camera portrude. Its a better design over than ultra. And its smoother transition on note 20 standard on focusing.

That makes sense. However, the Note 10 won't get 120hz, 5G, or that nice telephoto zoom, if that's of any value to you.
