No. This is 7th century BC Rome. Romans look innacurate. They look like the Imperial Roman Legionaries, however, back then, the Romans were just a tribal Italian warriors living in mud huts. The Romans back then never knew the sense of order and discipline as in times of Caesar and Augustus. They were mainly war bands stealing cattle. So no big deal back then.
I had been searching for this, i saw it when i was child in the early sixties. I only remember a couple scenes but i remember coming home from school and it was on.
Although I`ve followed Alan Ladd in most of what he stared in, this is the Oldest I`ve seen him act ? with his actions, his runs and movements all round, > Just Past It ?? This for me will be the Last time I watch Alan Ladd.
