    Love the latest hair! Folks have been raving about the new W.A. Illuminator, but I wasn’t interested as I already have your stellar picks: the Chantecaille, all the Westman balms, and the Chanel Dragee balm. I love all those, and that’s PLENTY for this still-oily 41 year-old. I never cared for the W.A. Super Loaded Highlighters in the compact for the same reasons you mention here: pore magnifiers, coconut oil not good for my face, muddied up with other products-I decluttered them.

    So informative, thank you! A great guidance for me. I love the chantecaille rose glow. I am over 50 and in that age it is more difficult to find the right product to enhance the skin, but not looking like a "disco ball". I find the Westman atelier highlighter sticks sometimes a little bit sticky on the skin, maybe I will try the chanel balm sticks

    Thank you, I feel validated. Just found your channel and I also subscribed. I recently purchased the WA Liquid Super Loaded Drops on the advice of another very famous influencer. She swears by these and I purchased the Rose. I tried under my eyes and elsewhere on my face and felt it just looked oily and more pronounced on my lines. I really tried for a few days but ended up returning the product feeling I was the only woman who noticed this. I will watch your video again to get all the info straight. I am leaning towards the Chanel and the Chantecaille. Look forward to more videos from you.

      there's your take a way; "famous influencer" I stay away from anyone who is given free product for peddling ie pushing a brand. I'd much rather see people who have no skin in the game, paid out of their own pocket and have authentic reviews. BTW, Westman Atelier has some of the very worst customer service, which has put me off the brand in it's entirety.

      Chanel enhances the skin (or you could say corrects lack luster skin tone) with colors that are not a natural skin tone...pink, yellow etc.
      Tilbury brightens/illuminates the skin.
      Both blur the skin a bit.
      I would put Chanel on first, then Tilbury and add foundation last. I would go in with a light hand if you use them all together ;)

    Hi dear Cheri, loved the video, and love to learn from you!!!🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩The Chanel one looks so much better on your face than the WA one in this video!!! Beautiful product from Chanel, i could not handle the foundation with my sensitive skin, gave it away, googled for the ingredients of this products, and, again, fragrance, Chanel just cannot stop putting fragrance in almost all their products, but beautiful!!!! Have to use that Chantecaille primer in the pink jar more, great idea! My forever highlighter is my Cle de Peau no. 18, do not understand why they stopped this beautiful so super subtle colour, glad i have a back up. But love more subtle highlighters or blush/highlighter! WA has beautiful products, do not have them all of course, just a consumer here. Yes, i do have a question, about Suqqu blushes, if i may. Their regular powder blush with more beautiful colours in 1 palette, easy, with my soft squirrel Chikuhodo Z1 brush, or the Chikuhodo Z blush brush. But: the Melting Blush from Suqqu is another story, Cheri, i can ruin that one, when applying to much, and not taking enough time to push it into my face carfully with my hands or a the BK 109. This blush is highly demanded but has a production stop now, they miss an ingredient, i believe. But i must say, i prefer their regular powder blush, much easier. If you have tricks to melt a melting blush, a cream to powder formula, or powder to cream, whatever, elegant and subtle on my cheeks, i would love to hear more tips dear Cheri! Now, i use just a tiny little bit, and a dense foundation/blush brush, or my hands. But i believe more brands than Suqqu have that cream/powder, powder/cream, melting into the skin idea, would love to hear your tips for a subtle application, if you have time of course! Thanks for another super good video, and love your hair look, Cheri!!!👍👍🤩🤩😘😘

    • @CHERIVOYAGE

      Thank you for sharing your input! Cream to powder blushes can be tricky because if not formulated correctly it can grab onto texture/lines etc. and look chalky...OR if the product is formulated wonderfully and the person has dry skin/texture etc. it can also go awry.
      That is why you see many Pro Makeup Artists use cream products, because even if a client is oily, it still lays nicely on the skin. Hope that offers clarification. I will add it to the list of education content though :)

      @@CHERIVOYAGE thanks so much Cheri for your super explanation!!! This afternoon used no. 9 again, love that soft colour of the Suqqu Melting blushes, it was ok, for the first time i used the little brush that comes in the palette which i never do, cause i had no idea's anymore. So, yes, it's such a waiste otherwise, i would love to learn from you more about these type of formula's, and love education content, thanks again!!!👍♥

    So I am hoping to find something that blurs and perfects the skin, but also helps with brightness around the eyes and purple hyperpigmentation around the chin, not hide but help. I’m not someone who wears foundation, I more like to accentuate my positives :) I have the Chanel skin enhancers in the 2 lightest shades and love them. But, I was wondering whether something like the chantecaille tints underneath may help with the brightness. I also have the WA lit up stick in parla, so I am happy to take whatever recommendations you have.

      Not really, Chantecaille leans towards skin care and the Chanel is a makeup product-more of a color enhancer/corrector.

    Bonjour Cheri! I actually just got the Chantecaille Rose Glow based on your tips (especially as a 52-year-old regal viewer). Do you have any quick tips since you mention it's skincare mixed with illumination? use it as primer after skincare without foundation, just concealer on lighter days? use it under foundation that you want dewier effects with? greatly appreciate any advice!🌺🙏❤

      All of the above.
      Apply all over after moisturizer and sunscreen, then add concealer just where needed or foundation/ tinted moisturizer all over. Go back in after and add a tad to high points of face for a soft highlight effect:)

I'll try again when the weather calms down, and I'll also use less product. I've found that my skin breaks down the WA Lit Up and Super-Loaded Tint Highlighters to almost nothing.

      Hello, a suggestion:)
      Mix into the plan of your hand (a couple swirls and add foundation-mix together in palm of hand or back of hand and apply. Your skin will glow with a subtle luminosity:)
      Go back onto with just a tad of the product on the high points of the face 💋

    Currently using Chanel’s hydra beauty skincare collection , it feels great on my skin, but that
    Le Tonique somehow makes my pores very visible.

    Hi Cheri, i dont think its much difference between this new enhancer, and Chanel highlighting fluid in beige, also Le blanc rosy drops and Chantecaille pink tint, and so many balm sticks. I have Chanel and Suqqu,. I also have VB golden tint, so i definitely dont think i need this one. Have a blessed day🙏💗

    Hello! are the Chanel and Chantecaille products redundant or can they be used together? And would you recommend one over the other? Thanks!!

    • @CHERIVOYAGE
      @CHERIVOYAGE  Місяць тому

      Very different in texture and finish. Chanel is more of a makeuo product, whereas Chantecaille is a skincare product first. I reach for Chantecaille consistently:)

    I enjoyed watching your video. How does By Terry’s Brightening CC Serum in Rose Elixir compare to the Chantecaille Sheer Rose? I’m trying to justify buy the Chantecaille😊.

    • @CHERIVOYAGE
      @CHERIVOYAGE  11 місяців тому +1

      By Terry is a skincare product (gel light texture) with some brightening, the Chantecaille Sheer Rose is a hybrid product-light moisturizer primer with pearly pigments. Think skincare compared to skincare primer :)

    How does the Chanel compare with the Chantecaille glow face tint in terms of hydration? I like the Chantecaille but I’m wondering if the Chanel one would be more moisturizing…

    • @CHERIVOYAGE
      @CHERIVOYAGE  11 місяців тому +1

      Different finish and formula. Chantecaille is lighter gel textur, less shimmer and more like a hydrating cream. The Chanel is a makeup product, hydration? Yes. BUT is built to enhance the skin with color pigments and more shimmer.
      I wear the Chantecaille first then the Chanel on top.

    I only use mineral sunscreen .. and i still havent found a perfect product..

    I have the stick and wasnt sure how to use them.. but i guess in the only dry spot.. near the eyes..
    For the rest my skin is white ..oily, with freckes ans rosacea prone 😂 i now a couple wrinkes.
    So its a challenge not to put tOO much

      .. since i have very oily skin im in search of a subtle luminizer wit no sparckles..

    • @CHERIVOYAGE
      @CHERIVOYAGE  9 місяців тому

      Sunscreen first
      Serum
      Moisturizer
      Luminzer or enhancer
      Foundation
      When using Illuminator or enhancers...
      Less is more with oily skin. Be strategic with placement (high points of face or where you want to draw attention)

    The Chanel baumes do not have any oil in the ingredients, rather a plasticizer called polybutene. The Westman A lit up sticks are far from being "clean" they contain TWO plasticizers polybutene and polyethylene--so basically you are putting chemically melted plastic on your face. If I had to choose, I would go with the Chanel, but really the RMS luminizers do the same thing--especially the way you use them, by rubbing on your fingers then applying them to the face. Just be aware both (CC and WA) are not ideal to use everyday. I hope this helps some.

    I saw Westman struggling to put this product herself and it looked very patchy 😅. So how we , as customers, can use it ? I believe it is a waste of money. Chanel all the way.

      Hello Issa,
      Foundation:
      Chanel no.1
      Chanel Vitalumiere
      Chanel Sublimage (not my favorite, but some people love it)
      Blush: Blushes with slight shimmer will brighten (skip bronzer if you feel it looks dirty). Use pink and coral blushes only.
      Surrat Artistique in Cantaloupe
      Chanel Les Beiges Water Tint Blush in Light Pink or Light Peach
      Tate Harper Cream Blush
      Pinky, Peachy, Spicy
