The "butcher's shop cover" was a shocker, and is still confronting today. Can't understand what they were thinking to even sit for it. You expect this for a Cannibal Corpse cover, but even most death metal/grindcore bands (I daresay even CC) wouldn't drape their real selves in meat fragments. Eu!
Yeah, it was a shock. I know they did it to move away from their squeaky clean image they had since the beginning and what a way to come out of the gate! 😂
'Earthling' is Bowie's drum and bass/dance music album, I quite like it but you will find it very different from what you are used to him doing. I find a lot of his later albums mixed in quality.
'Outside' is an ambitious concept album that's rock/electronica, takes a while to get into.
'Hours' is kind of back to a more traditional sound, its a pleasant listen with some good songs but I find it quite bland.
'Reality' has a couple of good songs on it, 'New Killer Star' and the 'Pablo Picasso' cover and the cover of a George Harrison song.
I find 'Heathen', 'The Next Day' and 'Blackstar' to be very strong albums, Bowie in great late era form. I would definitely recommend picking up 'Heathen' and 'The Next Day'.

Some ace choices there Bryers. I have quite a few of them in my own collection so clearly we have great taste😂. The 'butchers' cover is dreadful, but the music is fantastic of course!

I disagree with you on Aerosmith. I don’t care for their 1970’s albums but I really like their late 1980’s into the 1999’s. I’m jealous that you have the Butcher cover. Very cool to have in the collection.
Yeah, I know you prefer later Aerosmith. That’s okay tho. I know a lot of people grew up with that period so I can’t argue. As for the Butcher cover, if I get the actual record, then my collection would truly peak! 😂
Aerosmith are going to get together just to record an album for you Bryer. So you will have to buy it. Ha !
