The grain carts weren’t due to lack of operators and the fact they had the semis close by. They would rather stop a combine to drive the semi rather than lose a combine operator for a tractor. And he says in the video, they are helping a family member because of an accident. So it also wasn’t planned too far ahead!
Those dogs running loose make me uncomfortable. My baby would be put away. Cool footage though, thanks for sharing. Does Ventrac make a bean head? LOL!
It would be cool if Ventrac made a combine. The dogs are trained pretty good. He told me they usually hang out next to his truck, But the one was out a lot when I was filming especially when I was flying the drone.
The dog is a beast. He knows instinctively where he should and should not be. I know this dog and am a Boxer dog owner for years. I would never let my dogs be out around this...but this dog is unreal.
Grain carts are handy, But with 4 combines im sure 1 cart would not be able to keep up. They were helping a family member get his beans off, So i am not sure if they had anyone else avalable to run a cart.
Thanks for sharing I really enjoy seeing the older equipment.
Beautiful just beautiful!
Very nice always thought grain cart was wasted money, not to mention compaction it creates.

If you have that many machines, why not use a grain cart?
