AURORA songs are one of the only artists I have seen whos voice and energy and empathy cannot be duplicated. Something so original and pure when she sings each and every time, new ornaments and accents thrown into each verse.
Her documentary "Into The Light" is perhaps the most pure and honest representation of who AURORA really is, this mission she is on to truly make this world a better place, lighting the path that has been so long dark and filled with smog. Like a moth flying towards a light I feel like she has a supernatural gravitation towards helping this ever increasing struggle our world has been soaked in.
The way she moves and channels this devine energy through her hands is something I have never seen in other artists. She doesn't just sing her songs, she believes in them, she believes in a purpose and at times as she mentioned in another doc, she leaves her songs and album name "Infections Of a Diffrent Kind" up for interpretation.
Every person finds a slightly different meaning of a song to them, I personally have fallen in love with Through The Eyes Of a Child. Someone who has never cried just hasn't felt connected enough to the world around them, it is in our blood to feel, and as AURORA said "I think we're afraid to feel especially if it's a sad feeling" (Into The Light) , but you must forget that that is what everyone else wants you to think. Be you, let yourself go to that dark place, "You can cry" (The River) , and I assure you, you WILL miss the sadness when it's gone.
Life is too short, and too precious to be pressured into not releasing the pain, stress and sadness that accumulates deep inside us. Don't let those things hang heavy on your shoulders.
Nobody is perfect, nobody has no regrets, nobody is completely pure, but that is all a part of being a human, and society has told us that we should imprison our selves, and feel ashamed that we have made mistakes, when in reality it is a mask of the mistakes those people have made themselves. As I said nobody is perfect.
One of my favorite quotes from the mini doc AURORA Into The Light, is this
"Bad experiences from the past, can be good memories, it's kind of like you come to peace with everything that has happened, and what use to be bad memories or bad experiences, you just except then and move on. "

I wish everyone that really read this, and felt as I do towards the wisdom and good hearted purity of AURORA, a truly wonderful life, and you mustn't forget that a wonderful life is not without its pain and heartache, a wondeful life is something diffrent to every person, and I just hope that you find comfort and satisfaction in AURORA's music, I hope you find yourself release more the weight you, me, and we all carry on our shoulders. Truly believe we can make a change, believe we are good people, not perfect, but good people looking to make a change for the better in the world, let's follow AURORA in her journey to take us home to a better world. Let her take us home where we all belong, darker times will come and go, but never , ever feel as if they will continue on forever.
Whatever you believe in, whatever God may be up there, let's take solace and pride in knowing we are following somebody who for whatever reason, is different, is special, carries an angelic personality and purity that we regardless of religious belief can follow.

I really appreciate that in most Aurora Covers I listen too the artist does their best to imitate Aurora, but you do not do this. You put your own spin on one of her beautiful songs and you did amazingly well at it!!

Wow. I'm so speechless and out of breath this. It was SO beautiful, so INTENSE, emotional and powerful. This song makes me feel something really big but I can't quite figure out what it is, and your beautiful cover made me just feel the exact same way. Really beautiful cover of one of Aurora's most beautiful songs.
The line "And if there is a God, would he then believe in us?" is one of the most profound I think, whether or not you believe in any god. The idea that if a deity exists, he/she/they/it might not believe in us, because we are not worthy of it.
Have you heard the "airport story" regarding this song? It is a really beautiful little story by Aurora from an interview on Oct 19th, 2018:
- "On track eight you say ‘Be god in the shape of a girl’ - what does that line mean to you?"
Aurora: "I was at an airport, it was late, I was alone and my plane was the last one to leave. It was the year before I wrote the song, so 2016, which was a hard year for me because it was quite busy and I was sick all the time - I was in the hospital many many times. So yeah, at the airport… I was on my way home again, I felt a bit out of place, out of my own body, and then I looked at this family. I saw two very tired parents, and then this little girl - she was maybe 3 years old - and she seemed to give them so much joy, even though they were very tired. And she gave me a lot of joy. And then I saw an old couple, leaning over to look at the little girl who was smiling back at them. She seemed to interact with almost everyone at the gate, and make everyone happy. Without even knowing it. And I loved the way happiness and love can be so… simple? Don’t underestimate the power of a child. It was just very magical to see how much it affected everyone and everything. If I was to choose a religion, I would love it if god would be something that you can touch. Something like a little girl, on this earth, and not something that is far away or judges from above, you know?"
