There is that! When it was just Scott and I we hardly ever used the dining table either. But we’ve been making more of an effort to eat at the table since Chloe was born because we find we talk more and eat slower!
@@KirstieMorris I do find also when it is set that we will use any old plate and then it's like, well we could have sat at the table but now we used this plate and it doesn't match the rest 😂 When we first moved here we ate at the table often... that slowly went away.
Just found you. Loved the tour, your home is beautiful. Yes our kitchen is the hub of our home. We have three boys two are married and we have 6 young grandchildren. Our Island is 5x7 and we all gather around it when all the family is over as well as my mom. Brother sis in law and their son. We love to cook together and have family gatherings every week.

We do keep our dining table set all year. I don't find it too impractical because we hardly ever sit at the table 🤷♀️
