I actually felt the opposite. They had dragged the "will they/won't they" for too long, Brennan and Booth should have gotten together one or two seasons earlier. In a weird way, I liked that, when it did happen, it was quiet and drama free. But that's just me.
I actually think they would have dragged it out longer if Emily hadn’t gotten pregnant in real life. They had to write it into the story somehow and I think the fans would have rioted if it was anyone’s but Booth’s.

Honestly I get that Emily was pregnant but they could've done things differently like them slowly figuring the relationship out while being parents instead of discussing moving in together or at least a hinted steamy scene or a flashback on them working things out after she said she's pregnant. It's so off and feels dishonest.

If Vincent did survive the bullet he got that was meant for Booth, and if he heard that Booth & Brennan finally became more than friends after what he did for Booth to help catch a bad sniper, Vincent would've been very happy for them.

I think her and Booth conceiving Christine on the night that Vincent died seems more plausible given the fact that I am betting they weren't exactly thinking about protection when they slept together because of how spontaneous their union was.
My mom was so clueless about whether or not Booth and Brennan had gotten together...until Brennan revealed to Booth that she was pregnant with his baby...which was when my mother stated "So they did do it..." Basically, fans didn't know for sure whether or not they did anything that night UNTIL Brennan revealed she was having Booth's baby...that and Booth was acting really sugary sweet towards Brennan all thorough that season finale. He was even making Max suspicious with how sweet he was being towards Brennan as well as how sweet Brennan was being towards Booth. I actually never noticed their strange behavior until many separate times of rewatches.

I didn't get into it until reruns started on TV and when I started watching the regular show on at night it was Season 10 so I got Prime and started from the beginning I streamed it until I caught up. What a weekend and I still find myself turning on PRIME and watching it again and again......I would love 💕 a reboot but David B says he never looks back he wouldn't do Buffy the Vampire Slayer....Angel....Bones. Ahhh come on David give a thought
Brennan really made Booth's heart feel better after they comforted each other after losing Vincent. Booth needed that comfort weeks after Hannah broke his heart when she told Booth that she won't marry him. Good that Hannah didn't find out about it or she probably might seek revenge on Brennan and yell at her saying that Brennan wanted Booth for herself, and that Brennan was glad that Booth dumped her.

Could she have been any more insensitive to Hodgekin's feelings especially after she dumped him. Plus there was nothing even great about that guy. Hodgekins should have not taken her back

A few seasons before she decided to have Booths baby, subconsciously or not this was her chance and after a recent loss and vulnerable just went for it, it was totally in line I think.
I think death has a way of causing the responsibility of using protection to be thrown out the window...and besides...I think Brennan stopped using birth control long before Vincent died.
