Kerry was one of the nicest guys in wrestling.
Jake the Snake was one of if not the top heel in professional wrestling history.
From what ive heard from other wrestlers who've talked about Kerry over the years , was that he was really out there due to what he did "recreationally".

This was a wrestle-con event, they go there to make money on Merch and Pics.. They not only wear merch to promote it, but a lot of the older wrestlers wear the shirts so when they take pics with people, it's self explanatory who they are.
(Say they post the pic on FB/IG and people ask "Who TF is the old dude?")
Wearing the merch solves that
(Whether some wrestlers know it or not)
People know Jake's face very well, but some other 80s era stars are unrecognizable now.
