oh, bro, I really love this particular type of robots - a compact 6-axis manipulators. they have some inexplicable charm. thank you for sharing your progress.
Outstanding work indeed. Excellent video including your journey and no doubt will benefit and urge others to explore these areas. Thank you for sharing and great to see your results. A perfect example of how re-purposing a 2nd user robot can be accomplished and an excellent achievement. Well done..............
Great job man! I've been searching this type of video for a while. I wanted to get one too, but couldnt find a real purpose for the robot to help me daily, like the robot arm being more an assistant. You gave me some project ideas haha. I was thinking about what if you mix indoor gardening, the robot arm and image recognition. Like a fully automated garden. You put the arm on some rail system, so that i can move arround the "room" where the garden is, and using the image recognition can figure out if the vegetable/fruit/plant is ready to be harvest. And all the irigation system would be automated too, (some hydroponics stuff idk). It would be a really big and intersting project. What do you think?
Could you use a pneumatically actuated self-centering gripper instead of the vacuum pad? It would at least make sure the boards are in the same position relative to the end effector once clamped.
Just out of curiosity of safty can you set digital stops for the arm, so that it doesn't accept values that are outside of its workplace, like behind it?
Yes you can, I could filter it to only accept a certain range of positions. Built in is what's called a soft stop which constantly monitors the robot's positions and stops it if the movement would result in a collision.
Olá Coy, como vai? Por favor você conhece alguma maneira de conseguir um programa de simulação semelhante ao kuka.sim ou visual componentes que não possua custo de licença? Muito obrigado se puder ajudar.
Your patience and determination is impressive!... another great video, thanks.

This deserves way more views dudeee. Love your work keep it up! I’m currently working on a yaskawa hp20 to do similar stuff with. Love these videos
Criminally underrated channel. Subscribed!
Yeah, I'll say. I got recommended another video from this channel randomly - this is amazing work!
Super Cool! Thanks for sharing your work 🙂
Greetings from Germany
Dude, that is awesome. Don't let that manipulator whack you or it will break something.
Oh, the end made me wish you could get it to play Jenga, maybe with a bit of ML thrown in so it becomes virtually unbeatable.
Super interesting!
This is great stuff. Nice work!
Amazing work, keep going!

Your solution seems like I might have a use for such servomotors :)
This needs more views
too cool!!! subscribed, looking forward to more!
Kwakisaki is a really smart guy!

Yes, that could improve accuracy, as long as you simulate the clarences needed to grab the part from the side.
Jenga bot!
awesome
So cool! I love it.
Awesome!
Great stuff... Pity you don't have more subscribers! ❤
This is awesome
