Ngl your video got me hyped. My bf rides bmx and I just skate around in circles feeling boring but your video breaks down things well enough to where I might start having fun now, thank you!
Ty ty Ty for showing me some tips I went today and was unsure what to do lol but your video helped me so I’m going to try them out when I go back. I’m scared of the box still but hopefully have the courage to tackle it next time.
@2:35 I'm inline skater just started going to skateparks and really enjoying the new challenges. I thought that you would jump the other way so that your lead foot is in front again when you 180 down the pipe.
Hey! 👋 Glad to hear you’re enjoying the skatepark!! In answer to your comment about the direction of the jump: If I have my right foot in front, then I find it is easier to jump to the left (my open side) but I end up doing more of a carve if I were to jump to my right ( my closed side). I haven’t skated on inlines at the park very much, but I did feel like you could get away with having a less exaggerated split stance than I would on quads, so this might work to your advantage and make it easier to jump to the right 😊 There are of course benefits to having your lead leg in front all the time, but it’s also good to learn to be a bit ambidextrous. I’m now training my left leg to catch up with my right leg, it is a huge pain to do this now!!!! 😂 Hope this helps and happy skating!

I’m not new to skating, but I’m new to skate parks. These beginner moves will help me look and feel cool at the park! Thank you 🤠🤠
Thanks! I’m glad it helps!
Thank you for this video!! Super helpful and well explained
Your videos are great thankyou! So clear and have given me the confidence to try some of these out at the skatepark

Jumping is my worst fear skating and it holds me back A LOT. 🥺
The secret is to start small and build it up, but only as fast as you’re comfortable with ☺️

Can you post a compilation of you skating, indoors outdoors, it doesn’t matter!!! I love watching those types of videos.
Good idea, I’ll see what I can do ☺️
❤❤thank you
Nice
How do I get over the mental block of jumping onto a box?
When did you start going to the skate park?
I think it’s been about 3 years now, but I played roller derby before that and have been a confident skater for a long time 😊 hope that helps!
