And you think, "maybe I'm better off dead. My friends, my family would benefit from this." However that is not the case, because like you said, your life is not [only] yours. For some cases, if they had continued living longer, help might never come for them, and even if they did, as they grow older they will have to live with that damaging memory for the rest of their life.

I sincerely wish him good memories from here on out. It must be really stressful to lead a group full of testosterone, I’m sure there have been arguments and misunderstandings within the group that happens behind the scenes. For him leading the way, keeping the group together, with little time for himself could take a toll on him. A lot of people loves him dearly, and I hope this outweighs the bad things that happened to him.

I think people do have the justification to do "that". Sometimes people can only take so much. Going through depression for a long time, with the feeling that no one is there to help you can be mentally damaging to your psyche, feeling like you can't do anything about it is so painful you can't stand to bear it anymore. And you think, "maybe I'm better off dead. My friends, my family would benefit from this." However that is not the case, because like you said, your life is not [only] yours. For some cases, if they had continued living longer, help might never come for them, and even if they did, as they grow older they will have to live with that damaging memory for the rest of their life.
