The dance is called SPRING, they are mimicking the spring spirit in nature. Like how things grow, new life appears. Liping Yang is famous for that kind of dance. It's not about scaring you, it's about life.
Liping is famous for her peacock dance which is very original and stunning. I am not sure she can match that anymore. Most of her later dance does not surpass that.
