I think you guys are doing good, the fact that you guys are still making videos and you’re openly talking about your struggles is brave. It’s a lot getting sick, moving, two young kids trying to take a day at a time but also thinking about the future. You’re both doing your best and not giving up even though at times you may feel like it. It’s understandable and I’m sure tons of young families and even just families in general can relate. Love watching your videos and seeing your keiki grow. 💚

I have my own house, do house work, am studying and looking after myself and my son.

This is such a hard time right now. I have a young baby and it's been so difficult trying to find a new normal. Being a parent right now is no joke and it's hard to find or see the good sometimes. Thanks for sharing your experience
I completely hear you about being pushed to the limit. Thanks for sharing some of your stuff & just that you have hard days. We moved to the Outer Banks of NC last year. There has been so much chaos. Honestly, if I did not have the ocean, I am sure I would have completely gone crazy! I am glad you do have each other & are having some good beach days with the boys.

I'm so glad you're not all hi-tech with loud music and filters etc., just showing it like it is. Maybe you can take us on a tour of your neighborhood and house, backyard, etc. Why did y'all move to Oahu, any particular reason?

My son would not listen to us either about surfing, then he saw the "olive surfs" episode from the series Trash Truck on netflix and now, he paddles, we push him on little waves, and he "catches" waves! Not standing up yet, but it's a win because he's getting it! He'll be 3 in April.

These past two years have been very difficult for many. Australia has become very authoritarian with all respect to Jack not a place where you want to be if you value your freedom. Praying for all of us.

I live down the street from you guys past sunset and my wife and I are going through similar stuff as a couple in our late 20's: 2 kids under 3 and the stress that comes with raising little ones, financial considerations and doubts, and just simple doubts on if we still want to live here. It feels wrong to complain about the North Shore, but it's such a bubble and really nothing else going on here except surfing/diving/hiking (+ endless tourists), but when you have kids, priorities change. We have been having more consistent down vibes lately, and I feel our hearts are leading us toward a new location. Sending strength to you guys, you're not alone in your struggles. you'll figure it out!
I really admire the way you two make decisions on what’s important and healthy for your family. Life can throw so much at you all at once but I personally think you guys are doing great. Wishing you all the best♥️

One of your best vlogs! This was beautiful. Definitely vlog some adventures around Oahu. Makapu’u is a great kid’s hike (it’s paved and not too steep), as well as Manoa Falls. There are also dolphins Banks might enjoy swimming with over by Makaha. Chinaman’s Hat is fun to paddle out to and climb (though probably minus the last part with a baby lol), and of course, snorkeling tor kids in Kuilima Bay (next to Turtle Bay).
I literally started humming Ocean Eyes when Koda looked at the camera; I can't believe how fast they are growing... 😩😍😍🌊

I love how honest you are about the good times and the hard times in your lives! We've been on Oahu for 3 years now (from CO) and we still haven't figured out what we are doing with our lives. The only thing we seemed to have figured out is that we love living in Kailua, but jobs and cost of housing are hard. Hope you guys figure out what's best for your family. If you stay on Oahu I hope our paths cross one day! ❤

Alana - if it's a financial situation... consider increasing the social media content to get cash flow, endorsements etc. It will allow you to spend more time with the kids and give you more options. Be creative. It can be a pain but maybe you can make it worth while if you incorporate the family too. People want to see it! It can be lucrative! I'm sure there's a way to make it work... Hang in there! XO

Wow! Same in terms of all the illness we’ve experienced! We moved to MT so it makes sense that we would be sick more living in a new area during the low sun angle season, but that’s petty crazy that y’all with all your sun are still getting hit with the same stuff! I’ve heard it from a lot of ppl too that they just keep getting sick over and over.

Hang in there guys! This virus is mostly mental. It really gets you down and raises your stress levels when you are stressed. I seriously don’t think we have ever had a virus even close to this one.
